scannon
in the Caterham since having rotator cuff surgery back in mid-November. Yesterday the physical therapist and I discussed the stresses involved in getting in and out of the Seven and she gave me the go ahead to drive it being very careful getting in and out. Only the fact that I explained about the Caterham Butt Extractor convinced her to let me try it. I did about 20 miles in pleasant 55F+ weather and got out of the car once to pick up a few items and once again back home. My face hurts from the big grin and my attitude has been adjusted. :D There are still months of physical therapy ahead of me but things are definitely looking up. lucky dawg
How come Colorado has 7 weather in the middle of January while Seattle has had five days of non-stop snow, freezing rain, ice, etc? And now there is more on the way. Something very bassackwards going on. Aside from that, very happy for you. When I had heart surgery a few years ago, my main discussions with the doctor were when I could get in and drive my Corvette again. We compromised at 3 weeks. Great therapy. When I had heart surgery a few years ago, my main discussions with the doctor were when I could get in and drive my Corvette again. We compromised at 3 weeks. Great therapy. Colorado has a lot of good weather in the Winter. It got above 60F today with sunshine. The storm you got is hammering our mountains but isn't expected to spill over into the Denver metro area. The mountains need it much more than we do down here on the prairie. Next snow for Denver is a 10% chance on Monday. Meanwhile, we get 50s and 60s. The doc, PT and I have been in constant negotiations about driving the Caterham since before the surgery. I started driving the Dodge Ram with A/T a few days after surgery and started driving the Suzuki and Miata both with stick shift right after I got out the the sling at 6 weeks. Thanks to all for the good wishes. It sure feels great to be back in the Seven again.

scannon
I'm glad that you were able go get out Skip. Are you going to use your butt extractor on your baby 7? I might just have to fabricate one for it, we'll see how hard it is to get in and out of and how my shoulders are doing when its ready to drive. pi7ot
That's good news. It would have been funny if she had seen your face as soon as you had gotten out of the vehicle. She's probably trying to suss out what kind of hold the vehicle has on you. m
