It appears that at least the owner of one Seven (among his other delectable sets of wheels) is moving to the dedicated race-track/garage/social hub being built in Thermal, California:

How often does a Seven appear in a photo (or in print) in the New York Times?

 

I'm afraid that Thermal would be a little to hot (and much too rich) for my tastes....

My parents lived in La Quinta (20 miles from Thermal), for a few years during my childhood. I recall it being extremely hot (I also recall being chased by golf course security, while my younger brother and I cut across the private courses on a short cut to school...). That's too pricey for me. Wow, he has some nice cars.

... and you thought your feet already get toasty in your 7. There's a reason the place is called Thermal, often the hottest place in the country (the record high is 126 degrees).
