Alaskossie Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 It appears that at least the owner of one Seven (among his other delectable sets of wheels) is moving to the dedicated race-track/garage/social hub being built in Thermal, California: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/17/sports/car-club-for-the-fast-and-the-affluent.html?_r=1&hpw How often does a Seven appear in a photo (or in print) in the New York Times? I'm afraid that Thermal would be a little to hot (and much too rich) for my tastes....
yellowss7 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Not only a Lotus 7, but a 23B too. Nice.:driving: Tom
dvl Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 My parents lived in La Quinta (20 miles from Thermal), for a few years during my childhood. I recall it being extremely hot (I also recall being chased by golf course security, while my younger brother and I cut across the private courses on a short cut to school...). That's too pricey for me. Wow, he has some nice cars. Dave
Croc Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 How often does a Seven appear in a photo (or in print) in the New York Times? Mine has!
lucky dawg Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 ... and you thought your feet already get toasty in your 7. There's a reason the place is called Thermal, often the hottest place in the country (the record high is 126 degrees).
