scannon
There were about 100 plus very rare cars aon the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance last week. They don't run the 17 mile loop anymore, just head east and south from the lodge and back again. Photos at http://s1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii584/scannon929/Pebble%20Beach%20Tour%20de%20Elegance/ We were allowed to wander down the starting grid where the cars were lined up three abreast with motors running awaiting each group's starting time. The owners were friendly and willing to talk about their cars. I stood between the lines of cars as they drove off. The sounds were great and the unburned hydrocarbons just about did me in. Croc
Thank you Skip! That was a great way to wake up with the morning brew and just admire the cars. I need to get there one year....

Boxologist
No more Laurels Grade? At least Carmel Valley Rd? If they aren't doing the loop, maybe ALMS weekend would be more fun.
