seschm1234
I just bought a 2007 CSR and the seat position doesn't work for me. I'm relatively short (5'8") and when I move the seat position as far forward as the rail allows its still a problem. The seat actually slides forward enough but it won't lock into the track. I thought there was a problem with the catching mechanism but when i took the seat and rails out it simply travels farther than there are track slots. It seems to me that I have 3 options, 1.) Take the track apart and mill additional slots into the track. 2.) Drill new holes into the floor and reposition the tracks. 3.) buy the adjustable pedals from Caterham Any suggestions? yellowss7
How about some foam padding on the seat back to move you closer? Tom
Croc
There are a few threads on blatchat where other people have the same issue - it is not unique to a CSR since the seats and their tracks are the same. The most common and cheapest UK solution is 1) as you point out followed by 2). I would not bother with 3) as it costs a lot and has the same effect as 1) and 2). If you do follow 2) make sure you put little grommets in to stop water splashing through on puddles.
MichaelD
Those little holes also let the water drain out. I have even added holes in the foot area for when I wash out the cars interior. Can't say I have ever noticed water coming into the car through them. BTW I would go wit #
