just crawled out of the 7. was driving around with various friends that wanted rides, and those who swore she would never run :) 5 hours in the driver seat really takes it out on me! i think a winter project will be lumber support and more padding in the seat bottom... steve, i will eternally be jealous of your seats.

At Walmart in the auto section they sell a mesh lumbar support. It fits well in the Ultralite seat Or you can buy a pneumatic lumbar support from Scat and put it in the stock cover. We have also glued a firm foam to the aluminum shell for extra support. I also use a foam rubber cushion also available at Walmart that fits great in the seat bottom for long haul days.

Upholsters', or their supply shops, carry a foam that's just right for automotive/MCycle use they name "rebond" - buy it in sheets and cut it to size. Recommend it based on all of 1800 miles of use with a poorly padded rear-end (i.e., mine) over driving stints of 2-3 hours on rough roads.

@Romeo: When I first met up with Mazda, Scott, and Steve back in 2006 (or was it 2005?), I drove 7+ hours, in Tilletts, with half doors and half hood, through extended stints in torrential rain (this is sounding like a "when I was a kid, we walked to school uphill, both ways"! story). I could barely walk upon getting out of the car at Shenandoah. Good times. Good times.

I did the same, a good lumbar support and more cushioning on the bottom really help
