KiwiBirkin
Hi guys I have some enquires for my lotus seven laser cut grills and im thinking of getting another run done if there is some more intrest so I thought I would post here to see Laser cut Caterham 7 front grill badge ideal for adding into your 7 replica/clubmans grill, this time im also thinking of getting 10 cut in 2.5mm Aluminum and I have also found a slightly cheaper supplier. Options would be Option 1 Laser cut from 2.5mmm mild steel so its thick enough to weld or braze in without any distortion to it. US $48 + postage US $11 Airmail in bubble pack bag. Option 2 Laser cut in 2.5mm Aluminum (no idea how to fix in place but maybe epoxy it in) US $60 + postage US $11 Airmail in bubble pack bag. Size is 195mm wide x 185mm deep Item comes from Australia as I have moved there and postage is via airmail and they normally arrive within 5 working days. The only way to pay is via Paypal as its easy and the safest option and this is done once your grill is cut and ready to post. if you are interested please post here and also email me at Hotdognz@gmail.com if your interested or want any photos of what it will/can look like in your cars grill as I have one fitted in mine. http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu326/Hotdognz/bits%20and%20pieces/GrillMain.jpg Cheers Kiwibirkin

powderbrake
I received my badge from Kiwi Birkin, and am very happy with it. Here's a copy of an old post I got my bage last August, but finally got it installed today. I welded some #8 screws to the rear of the badge, then seeing that I had actually welded them to the front, I ground them off, and welded them to the actual rear of the badge. I had some leftover paint from the original build, so I broke out the spray gun...... and then ran to the auto store to get some thinner....... and painted it. The grill is actually a grill for a flourescent light fixture, and is made of plastic. I got some fender washers, painted them black, and attached the badge with #8 elastic stop nuts. http://www.usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=1644&d=1271180404

powderbrake
jerry, any chance you can snap a pic from behind? My behind pics are pretty gross , but here's one of the back side of the 7 logo. I welded 4 #8 screws on, used fender washers painted black, and elastic stop nuts. The grill is from a flourscent fixture, chrome plated plastic, and it is held in place by wood screws into wood blocks that were inserted in the hood when Brian made the hood.
