Custom 7 Trailer

Isn't night travel through the mountains fun? :)

Many years ago, my wife and I were on a trip in the 4 Corners area...headed from Durango to somewhere in Utah at night I came around an uphill corner to see a huge herd of deer in the trotting across middle of the road. Over 100 animals.

Fortunately we were not going that fast and I was able to slow down. Once they realized I was there, the deer took off like a school of fish. I'll never forget that.

Yeah Keith it was highway 50. It would probably be a beautiful drive during the day but a little scary at night. At about 3.00 am we were really having a hard time staying aw20 ake. We had slowed our speed down with the recent elk scare to about 55. We thought if we could get behind a truck to run as deer block we could step it up a bit. Sure enought about 20 min later we see lights coming up pretty quick. We were in luck it was a NAPA truck the 25' box van type. That guy must have driven that road a hundred times. We hung with him for a while but eventually pulled away from us. We were just to tired for that much concentration. We had to pull over for a short nap after we got our ass's handed to us by a box truck.

I was driving across the Australian outback a few years ago in a charity event (in a 1970 Ford Fairlane - don't ask:eek: ). We had to drive through the night to catch up after replacing the gearbox and the Kangeroos were so think on the road it became impossible (and unsafe) to maintain any kind of speed. Until this guy came along... These boys stop for nothing, so tuck in and hang on, as the locals say.

That is what you call a kangaroo vaporizer.

And that's pretty much what it does... these road train boys seem to compete for who's got the biggest set of 'Roo Bars.' Same the world over :D

Towing trailer with a seven isn't bad at all. You figure most of the drive trains in our cars are made to move cars twice the weight. So you can tote a trailer as big as a seven without much problem. I like the one from behind where you cant see the car. It got alot of comments from the truckers

Can you throw some rear stab jacks on so that it can be loaded/unloaded when not hitched to a tow vehicle...if so, what is cost on this addition?

Kudos on the trailer.

It pulled beautifully behind the rig, I almost did not know it was there.

I should have taken a picture...

This is what it would have looked like, but wider and lower.

My only concern is were are you supposed to sleep at? I saw no place for an air mattress.

unlike MOJO's trailer....:D
