Possibly my last-but-one Caterham related outing before I sell the car and move out to Boston. Billed as the biggest kit car show in the world - they were expecting 4,000 kit cars on the day.

Here is a link to some pics I took yesterday - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10201807510738742.1073741843.1511311827&type=1&l=3125210d7d

Named the album "The Good, the Bad and the Fugly". Some great kits out there, but also some monsters! There were also quite a few non-kit cars about of interest (some Brit classics as well as some American metal). Great day out - weather held (I have the sunburn to prove it )

The blue car with the square nose and the huge VW logo reminds me of John Pertwee's 'Bessie' (Doctor Who circa 1970).

And is that a kit of a Morris Minor? Hmmm...

Nope. I think this was one of the original cars there on the day. There seem to have been more non-kit cars there this year than in previous shows. Amongst others I saw few TVR's (old and more recent), some VX220's and Elise's, some early UK Ford's (Escort's mainly), Porkers as well as the US cars (which I presume are original).

Now that would have been a great time for me. So much awesome stuff!

I always wanted a Stratos but they're just too expensive to put together.

A few of those cars I dont recognize at all and they're pretty good looking.

And of course there's the ones that um. Need some style tips just like this guy:

I went to Stoneleigh and the Cadwell Park trackday, about 13 years ago. Awesome events. I think there were 235 or so Caterhams at the event and I don't think two were exactly alike! If you have the chance to attend some day I highly recommend it.

I saw this one at a track day at Zolder last fall.

I have no idea about the cost to purchase / assemble. But it was very quick and it sure was a beauty!
