Like a butterfly

Well it looks like I am in the same boat as Bill in not being able to attend the GBB due to work commitments. This said I am thinking of doing a trip to BC in early September. My plan at present (which could change) is to drive the Stalker to Nelson. Using Nelson as a base for a few of days to drive some of the local roads, maybe white water rafting, hot springs at Ainsworth, then drive to somewhere like Penticton and use this as a base again. In the Okanagan drive the local roads, maybe take in some wineries, sample some of the local restaurants etc. From here I think I would take a couple of days to get back home to Calgary. Stewart

Well after all the talk in GBB tread about blats it is probably a good time to start thinking of potential blatting routes throughout the year. Add your ideas to the below list for future discussion: Grizzly Bear Blat (organized by Terry) BC Winery Tour (Kelowna, Penticton, Osoyoos)? Jasper via the Ice Field Parkway (earlier in the year than last year) Going to the Sun Road (overnight in Kalispell) BC Group get together (Kamloops)? Kananaskis hwy to Longview

Parts of Cuba are like Cancun (Varadaro etc) the rest is quite rustic and the old cars that they use should be in a museum, but they are well looked after. The people appear to be friendly; I believe the cigars are good (I do not smoke) the cigars I give out everyone seemed to enjoy. Personally I am in rush to go back, there are other islands I would go to first, but that’s just me.

I may look for a last minute vacation package to Costa Maya, I would think everyone will be trying to get away from there

After owning two corvettes in the early 80’s, I thought about buying another when they brought out the C5. I particularly like the latest version whether hard top or convertible. Maybe if and when I sell the seven I may purchase another.
