  1. Very photo shop. Bravo!
  2. Here is the video overview of LOG36 my son Colin shot. Enjoy the event from your arm chair
  3. I think I recognize your car. Did it come from CO?
  4. The local Lotus club (PALS) held an event this past weekend featuring Bob and Richard talking about the early days at Lotus. I shot a video of the highlights as I always find the stories fascinating and thought it would be worthwhile to document some history. Enjoy the stories.
  5. Mike, your weekly “Sevens for sale” posts are a must read for me. Keep up the great work!
  6. Yeah, I figured you were looking for a response. Good luck with your sale, I’m bummed the timing is wrong for me.
  7. Unfortunately I had to wait 6 months just to get in line for the painter and then it’s another 6 months in the paint shop. TC engine almost done at the machine shop (just a little more performance and a complete rebuild). Rebuilding the transaxle as we speak (all new bearings & seals). Chassis and all suspension parts media blasted and powder coated. Will spend the winter reassembling the chassis with all new bushings, coil over shocks, brakes (removing rear drums and replacing with disc), engine and transaxle. All fluid lines replaced with new. By the time the body is done the chassis will be rolling and ready to run. Then it’s only new interior and bolt back on to the body. Just a little longer than a month Mike :driving:
  8. Nice idea Tom, but I’m a no debt kind of guy. Maybe I’ll be lucky and finish my Europa restoration, sell it and Mike’s car is still available.......
  9. Darn it Mike, my sports car funds are tied up in a Europa restoration. Figures your 7 would be up for sale when I was tied up in another Lotus project. As they say, timing is everything and clearly mine is off! Very nice car and can testify that it is well taken car of. AND NJ registered!
  10. Some back roads down the street from where I live. They are all like this :hurray: It's not a seven.......but its a Lotus (1964 Elan S1). Enjoy the short video.
  11. Dave was a prince of a guy. Always willing to share his knowledge and insights. If you were interested in listening to him he was happy to tell you all he knew. He will be greatly missed in the Lotus community. Rest In Peace Dave.
  12. Croc, the engine sounds great on your BMW. I would be freaking outing with that much steering input! You are a far better driver than me........
  13. Croc, that car is so cool just sitting. Seeing it in motion is pure sex.
  14. Odd, I just tried it twice on my iPad and it came up right away.
  15. A few video highlights from Sunday.
  16. I was at the track with the entire group today to shoot a video of their day. Great group of people, wonderful cars and a fantastic track day (blue skies, sticky track surface and lots of enthusiasm). Mike and Tom have pulled out all the stops once more to make this the ultimate Seven's track/social event. I didn't take many photos (just lots of video). It's been an action packed couple of days, I'm sure everyone is exhausted (94 degrees today) at the end of the day and just want to sleep instead of staying up to post photos. When everyone gets home and has a chance to relax you will see all the photos you could want. In the mean time, video will follow shortly. Stay tuned. By by the way, you should really come to this event next year. It's a once in a lifetime Seven's opportunity. Every participant told me that many times! Even the guys who drove half way across the country......
  17. Only two were ever made. Pretty rare sighting. Surprised you knew what it was...... here are a few more photos
  18. I met Jeff this past weekend and he is very much a sports car enthusiast. Great guy and I think he is offering a fantastic deal with the pricing of this Locost!
  19. That is very cool. I wish more towns would do something like this. Thanks for sharing the video. Nice driving!

  24. Some additional photos from LOG36 in Princeton. I'm not sure where the comments came from that Seven's weren't welcome at LOG36, as Co-Chairman of LOG36 I personally invited all Seven variants to LOG36 on this site. There are a number of you that know me and that I am a big fan of all Seven type cars. For those of you that came to LOG36, great to have you at LOG36! Anyone who missed it, LOG36 had over 400 participants and you missed a great Lotus gathering and party! http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11578&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11579&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11580&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11581&stc=1
