  1. That is McNeil Canyon, due east of Chelan and a bit north of Wenatchee. So, you have it right. I live in the Lake Chelan area. Most of the highways in BC are kept up pretty well. The canyon I chose today was just repaved a year or two ago and is very nice, twisty and pretty steep.
  2. Reading about all the fun they are going to have in New Jersey, I snuck out for a quick drive up a couple of canyons today. So, it isn't New Jersey, but it is a nice day. Happy Independence Day Weekend all! http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11252&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11253&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=11254&stc=1
  3. The ebay auction says "Built on used Arch Motors chassis and titled and registered in Idaho since 2004 as a Replica/Reconstruct Vehicle, 1962 Lotus Super Seven." But regarding the rest of your concern, I dunno.
  4. Thanks Tom. Where is the momentary switch usually located?
  5. I think I have the controls pretty well figured out on the 2003 Birkin I bought and have been fiddling with and driving. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how the high beams on the headlights turn on. The headlight switch is just off/parking/low beams. None of the other switches seem to do anything with the lights. Quite a few things have been changed, so maybe the high beam switch now manually activates the fan or something. But, how if somebody can tell me how the high beams are supposed to be activated, I will work from there. Thanks, Al
  6. That is still a beautiful Seven and I found myself having garage envy as well. I have been thinking of building a windscreen for the roll bar much like the one you have. So, I have to ask, does it help much with the wind buffeting? Good luck with your sale and if you ever want to remodel and fix garages, let me know!
  7. Walla Walla is a great location, with fantastic wines and restaurants. But, I suppose a more metropolitan location might have a bigger market for race car trailers.
  8. Looks great! Those seats are very cool too!
  9. Really pretty much done now. A taller roll bar is still coming, and I will install my 3rd brake light and probably make a bimini top. That's it for this summer, cuz driving now...
  10. The weather was still pretty chilly when I took it apart, thinking I would be doing less than I did. I should have it back on the road today though. I did leave some projects for the next winter...
  11. Yes, next week. The taller rollbar will be done Friday. I will put some on the nose as well.
  12. I had it painted. I took it apart for them and am reassembling it. Since I redid some of the interior, I had it apart anyway.
  13. Yes, an old Laser we play with on the lake.
  14. It is something like a home remodel, in that I kept finding little things to "fix." I thought I would be done by now, but it is getting close. When I purchased it in late March, it was pretty tired cosmetically in the interior. The outside was pretty chipped up, and for the parts that were metal I quickly found out I'm not fond of polishing aluminum. It started like this: And today it looks like this: It should be on the road in the next week or so.....
  15. I had to Google the Lotus Eminence. It is probably a good thing they never produced it.
  16. That is a great looking trailer. GLWS.
  17. This is a good article on exhaust systems: http://www.turnology.com/features/performance-exhaust-system-design-and-theory/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=performance-exhaust-system-design-and-theory&utm_source=May+2016&utm_campaign=Harley+NhB+Press+Release&utm_medium=email My car has a custom system from Burns, the folks who wrote the article. It is very quiet, but can be varied by how much stainless steel wool it is packed with.
  18. Congratulations. That is a beautiful car and sounds fun to drive.
  19. Looking for a little sun relief when driving. If someone has a Birkini available, please let me know. Thanks, Al
