  1. Where is everyone staying at? We are about to book our rooms last second
  2. Wow look out!!
  3. Kevin thank you for coming all the way there and driving our car, and THANK YOU for not crashing our car  I would also like to thank everyone who was there supporting us, even though I was not there. Hopefully I wont be missing out on any more events.
  4. Maybe Dino and I should read next time before we write
  5. I think you're right...the rims don't look like ours and our tail lights are mounted lower than it looks like in the picture.
  6. I would recommend using a SA rated helmet especially if you are going to use this for track events. I'm not a helmet expert, but from what I've heard the difference between motorcycle helmets and automobile helmets is the way they are designed and tested. Motorcycle helmets are tested for hitting and skidding across a road, where SA helmets are designed to withstand being smacked into a roll bar or cage. Dino and I both got our helmets from www.northstarmotorsports.com because they are not too far from us and we were able to try them on (plus they are really nice people and have great prices). My helmet is a medium and it fits me perfect (Bell M2). Dino's is a small and he also has a Bell, but I forget the model. If you are able to go to a place locally I would recommend doing that, or use northstar motorsports. -Paul Roupas
  7. Dino and I plan on attending this event. Looking forward to see you guys there, and thanks for letting us know when to register by before the price jump. Who else is thinking about going to this event?
  8. Goodluck Jeff and Kevin! Dino left not too long ago to start heading over there. He's in for a long drive...I unfortunatly couldn't make the event either. My other job (personal banker at Chase Bank) wouldn't give me that time off. Dino has 2 video cameras and my digital camera, so there should be some good footage when the event is over. I don't care who wins the event as long as Jeff and Kevin whoop on some supercars!
  9. I want to thank everyone who was there at the 777 meet. It was a blast and I had a great time. I wanted to go for a few rides w/ other people but like Mazda I was taking others out for rides. I wanted to see how I compared to Mazda in the straight line but I never got a chance...maybe next time Mazda . Kevin's supercharged S2K was a blast to drive as well, once you hit vtec at 6k you better hold on tight. There were lots of nice cars at the event and it was a great time. I love how welcoming the whole 7 community was to everyone. Wonderful time and I can't wait till we have another big meet. Special thanks to Al, Mazda, and anyone else who was in charge of organizing the event and working their butts off. You guys did a wonderful job and you need to be acknowledged. I'd also like to say thank you to everyone for all the kind words about the SR27. I believe Kevin described our car as "French silk pie with a cayenne chaser" or something like that...he was really happy to have the opportunity to take it for a ride, as I was in his car Mojo. Thanks Kevin.
  10. Actually I found out the hard way that it will not. I cracked the diff housing today when messing around with 2005 BMW M3 that has around 500whp (Stage III Active Autowerks Supercharged). I did pull on him too before the diff gave out. I'll be posting more pics later on. Thanks for all the kind words.
  11. I know that Dino and I have mentioned our car on this forum many times, but without any pics. Here it finally is. Al Navarro, Meet your twin This SR27 features a 2.0L Nissan SR20 DET motor and 5 speed manual, Garrett GT28 turbo, Miata 6" LSD, & 16" 3 Piece Panasport C8 race wheels just to name a few of the goodies. This car has about 350 HP for those who are wondering http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/734716422_SR27 022 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/742716883_SR27 030 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1460215833_SR27 032 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/2121659771_SR27 041 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1734921566_SR27 026 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1272853518_SR27 049 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/386486893_SR27 033 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/2022770300_SR27 040 smaller.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1318869115_SR27 019 smaller.JPG
  12. Welcome to the forum kar120c, The pricing for the SR27 isn't final yet, but we expect them to be priced around $38,500 USD completely built. That is with around 220 hp and over 200 lb-ft. There are also different performance options available, like the large front mount intercooler, big brake kit, upgraded turbo, performance software, limited slip differential upgrade, and 3 piece Panasport race wheels to name a few. Pricing is not finalized yet because the car is still in the build process. Once everything is ironed out we will have complete pricing for the car, including all of our options. We are currently working on a web site and once that is done there will be complete pricing on there. -Paul Deman USA
  13. We're looking forward to this event. Dino and I will be there for sure http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/yesnod.gif
  14. Merry Christmas everyone!
  15. Yes that is a miata rear end. Deman is switching over to miata parts primarily because they are lighter and are easily available. British American Motorsport, or B.A.M. for short, are the ones who are developing and building these SR27's along with Deman. These pictures are courtesy of Seth Patterson, one of the onwers of B.A.M., who is building these cars. B.A.M. has been restoring and building rare classics and exotics such as Ferrari and Porsche for over 14 years. Combinding the talent behind Deman and B.A.M. will make the SR27 something truely amazing.
  16. Here are some teasers of the SR27 in the build process. http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061223_190904_Deman_USA_011_s.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061223_191000_Deman_USA_017_s.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061223_191051_Deman_USA_020_s.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061223_191209_Deman_USA_021_s.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061223_191336_Deman_USA_010_s.JPG
  17. Hello everyone. This is Dino's partner Paul. To answer rv-4mike's question as to which Nissan powerplant we will be using, it will be the SR20DET. If you are not familiar with these engines they are 2.0L 16 valve turbocharged engines that rev to 7,500 and make over well over 200hp stock. We will be selling built versions with over 300rwhp. It all depends on what the customer wants. The cars will be called the SR27 (SR20DET+SUPER 7=SR27). These cars are still being developed right now. We hope to have complete cars in early February. We feel that this powerplant will be the perfect motor for these cars. They produce a lot of power and have the great engineering and reliability of Nissan motors. There is not any information about these cars on the website because they are still being developed but you can give either Dino or I a call at (312)804-3839.PAUL@DEMAN2006-12-22 12:36:44
