  4. Or you can order it already set up for RHD. That is what I did, Russ
  5. Darn, I already have one and I love it. Just make sure your windscreen aluminum is no more than 1/2" thick. If it is more you will have to file it down to 1/2". That is what I had to do. The brackets can't be bent to fit any other thickness. Russ
  6. Also xflows are probably a lot smaller so will the engine bay be big enough. I know on my Locost with a 1300cc xflow the bay is too small for almost any other engine. Russ
  7. Judging from the sound of it, it sounds like he burnt them all!!!!!

  16. Ditto if you are near Kansas City. Russ
  17. I stand corrected. I've never seen one of those. Interesting. Russ
  18. That is not a Kent motor. Carbs on the wrong side. Kents are crossflow motors. The carb is on the right and exhaust on the left. Might be a 2000 or 2300 Ford though. Russ
  19. Go Army!!! Thanks for choosing the best branch. As a person with a Locost Se7en made in England I would recommend waiting until you got stateside. It is very difficult trying to find parts for my drive train stateside. If a donor car was never imported to the States or Canada it is hit or miss every time you go to a parts store. Luckily I have not needed very many any suspension or drive train parts and my motor is a Ford xflow so motor parts are fairly easy. There are lots of choices over here for Se7ens. Either as a kit or scratch builds. There is a great Caterham dealer in Denver. Think about it before you jump in. Russ (1st Lt. US Army 1975)

  24. My 17' cedar strip kayak does quite well in the water. I'm sure he (or she) has covered the wood all around with fiberglass cloth and resin and then coated it with spar varnish. It would be quite waterproof then. Although rocks and someone else's bumper is another story all together. Wood encapsulated in fiberglass is surprisingly light and strong. Russ
