Thats fair. Freight is likely your best option but still likely won't be cheap Alternatively, @Mark IV you're closer to OP. What would be a quote shipped to if you can get another set CT?

@OrangeMax Still have these?

Also just came across this similar alternative http://www.yourbadges.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=33&products_id=243&osCsid=iep55hrjiugjifntd6gnu2da05

Bad news. In my experience that specific badge is very hard to source. Usually only on the used market in the UK and it is typically pretty desired. If I were in your shoes your easiest and quickest replacement option would be to get a regular new black badge, or any other badge that fits and put that style sticker you see above over it. There are a few 7 owners on FB that are vinyl masters and could likely do it rather easy. https://caterhamparts.co.uk/nose-cones/5341-nosecone-badge-black-silver-self-adhesive.html These seem to fall into the "impossible to find" parts like the center caps for my SLR wheels

Does anybody have a part number for a Zetec muffler? It appears to be a setup unique to US side which is different from the way all the UK units have been built. There are no connection points other than the mating face to the 4 runners and then welded to the muffler assembly.

You can always try Amazon Prime items if there is an issue with availability to try. I used Zamp (M) and it was true to my size (M) with my other M motorcycle helmets. I tried RZ35. I ended up returning it because it had the SA2015 rating instead of 2020 even though it was a 2020 helmet without a discount for losing 5 years. I paid a restocking fee due to buying from a non prime store that had a restocking fee. Seat holes should be standard but don't quote me on that. If you have the 4 then you should be in good shape to have a bolt over swap. Its A LOT easier with 2 people. Once you get settled in we do expect a compare and contrast your experiences of a 7 compared to NSX if your name holds true...

I have tillets but only driver is adjustable. I tried to flip the rails on passenger as you can see in my thread and that didn't work. I could still new holes I suppose but not at the moment

It certainly has to be tight. Lets just say people can tell you had a hat on after a drive even if you take the hat off... Also the closer you sit the less you're effected. My s.o. is a lot more effected by the wind because passenger seat isn't adjustable and sits further back by default. I've debated having a fishing line type of tether for her hats. Long hair usually means either a hat or a hoodie of sorts to keep hair tame.

I appreciate it but I don't think it will be necessary. I'm confident in Redline evaluation but more importantly I'm having the hardest part measuring the difference between the old one and the new one here. I've used string, tape measure, hoses etc. It's a very subtle difference that's rather hard to measure on a round tube with an arbitrary start point of a circle. I potentially could use tape but I didn't want to deal with residue.

That's variable FYI. Largely depends on your size and hat. I'm 5ft7 with aeroscreen and have no problems* with my adjustable baseball cap even on the highway. *It flew off once but that was even before highway speed so I assume something else was a factor. Caps help a lot as a sunvisor and blocks the sun beating down on you. As well as a little "privacy"

I was hoping they were the same but planned for the worst which is why I ordered a matching one for the other side. Still don't like how high they sit so I'll try to fix the old one and put it back on. It needed a paint/powdercoat job anyway. I ordered these 76103 - CYCLE WINGSTAY LH 13/14 WHEEL ROAD USE https://caterhamparts.co.uk/brackets/1112-cycle-wingstay-lh-13-14-wheel-road-use.html?search_query=76103&results=1 Maybe I should have ordered these? 76101 - CYCLE WINGSTAY LH 13" ZZS/ZZR TYRES I'm amazed they CC has so little information on many of their parts. Zero measurements or references for these mounts is a good example. Or even a race one? Hm.. I'll keep looking into it. In regards to double sided velcro, you mean the type that would have hooks on both sides? Or hooks on one side and glue on the other? Having a hard time figuring out how it would grab onto the SBFS liner part other than tackiness of a glue. There is also zero chance that the fuel filler cover will fit as is with liner underneath it so I have to likely trim it up a bit. It's a very nice product that serves a purpose, so I definitely intent to mastermind a way to utilize it in the end. Edit: Spoke with Redline. Yes my mounts are taller. Part number "3" indicates that. 76103. (4 for right hand). I need Part number 1 (2 for right hand). 76101. Race mounts are identical except they dont have a hole for the signal wire and they are beefier.

Aero screen or windshield? With aero I typically use a variety of safety glasses and keep a helmet in the back in case it decided to rain. You really don't want to be driving in the rain without the helmet. Motorcycle helmets work fine for the street if you have them already. Have a set of ear plugs at the ready or noise cancelling headphones like the AirPods Pro from Apple I used a helmet before and will likely end up buying one. Great for the price. Flat black ended up having quite a few chips after just two days on the track though. Not sure on long term.

Has anybody ever try to use SBFS trunk liners while carpeted? I'm having no luck. They don't stick for obvious reasons but they also don't stay/fit

For my overheating voes decided to flush the coolant a few times (10x without even starting it until it went more clear) Still can't start until ITB's come back from being rebuilt

Speaking of wings. Decided to look into why my driver side has failed over and over again. Failed with bolts, failed with big heads (2x) etc. Used the awesome 7 ball joint tool for the first time and swapped the fender stay for a new 13in and discovered a few things. 1) old one was twisted which likely explains uneven pressure/stress causing failures 2) the new stay makes the fender sit much higher

While trying to fish out all the debris collected in the crevice of hell where chassis meets foot-well enclosed/trapped by sheet metal, I asked myself "Does any 7 veteran have a better way to do this?" With that question still pending an answer if you have any 7 solutions to common problems, we could all benefit. Off the top of my head Spider cracks in the fenders and noise reduction can be achieved by buying sticky rubberized protective film in different thicknesses to be put inside the fenders. Dings in the body work can be minimized by buying clear PPF film. Welding nuts for the seat rails can save a lot of future frustration Feel free to have anything else you might have.

Caterham doesn't make any of its parts

Oh I'd love to see an answer to that as well. Mine are pretty destroyed from aging. I have a pending order from CCparts for a replacement.
