Have you found a way to get it there? I found a photo but for some reason I can not post a photo to this forum. Drop me an email and I will send it that way. wcmultralite@earthlink.net

Still trying to make space. Anyone that can use that Busa oil pan or headers are welcome to them, FREE. 9 years of accumulating parts I don't need. :ack:

Just came across a new Tilton 7.5" single disc pressure plate, disc and aluminum flywheel. The disc is 1" ID dia. X 23 spline X 7.5" and the aluminum flywheel I think is for a 1600 cross flow, but could be something else. Take a $100. for all. -
Sorry, sold the White Prototype, but we do have a partially assembled Basic Kit painted Blue that is available right now. Almost any size engine can be installed. This Blue Basic Kit can save you a lot of time, no need to wait for one to be built. Ready to go right now! $10,000. Have been holding it for a customer that just wrote that he broke his ankle today and won't be able to come through. If interested call me at 972-227-7241 and we can see what can be worked out.

I think if you were hit in the rear of a Seven, a spare would help spread the load before it got into the tank and suspension, but it's weight we live without. If we were worryied about it we would put spares on the side to. Saw a flat on a Seven once, and you could not tell unless you were on the track. Tire stayed up even with out air.:ack:

While I am on a roll, ;;What turned each of us on to a 7

Bob, I love that shot on the go cart, reminds me of being a boy and building my first cart, then a 1948 Harley 125, 1950 chevy coupe, so on and so on. Always wanted something more fun, got a chance to run a Seven on the track and have been hooked ever since. Nothing has been as much fun as a Seven on or off the track. :7drive: -

Had a couple of Stents myself about five years ago, besides saving my life, I never felt better. Much more energy from day one. Be sure to follow directions. -
Yesterday, two of my 6 Gran Kids got a surprise. I pick each up, different schools, parked in front so all there friends could see them get picked up in what they all were saying was the "coolest car". Beautiful Day in a S2K Seven. :7drive:

David and his wife are in our prayers, my brother in law had what was diagnosed as an inoperable brain tumor about 30 years ago, ten years ago my wife dragged him to the Arlington Hospital after showing signs, they operated the next day, and he is still a pain in the butt. Prayers and good doctors can do wonders.:yesnod:

Kevin, I think you have already broken all the State Side Records, except drag racing. Maybe we should buy you a set of Drag Slicks instaed of all those heavy street tires you have been running. Thanks for keeping us all posted on track events, really looking forward to the Top Speed Seven Record at the Texas Mile. :7drive:

Yeh, Kit Car Builder did a fantastic job on that article, can't say the same for Sept. Car and Driver, it was all about the writer and his Nissan, but they do have a photo of Kevin's car lined up in order after the race and Kevin and Mechelle got mentioned a bit. :7drive:

All depends on what you can do yourself, and how good you are at finding deals on parts. Like drivetrains, tires, wheels, wiring, etc.:7drive:

John K. ordered a one off special Kit that was not a WCM production product. It was more or less an experiment in a different direction that he chose to go. The standard Ultralite S2k has proven it's engineering many times over the last eight years, without any major changes to design. Knowing John, I am sure his finished design will be fantastic, and the time spent just makes it that much more to his liking.

A month or so ago I was in a accident with a truck that T boned my side of a pickup. Cracked ribs, back muscles, elbow and a good bump on the head. When I flew out to Road Atlanta a few weeks back, Michelle saw I was still in pain and stiff. She offered me a couple of potions to try, well , I can say they worked great. I feel much better and seem to be healing well. Michelle and Kevin are the best kind of friends to have. Always positive thinking and always there to help strangers, competitors, or anyone they can. The Seven people are the friendliest, most helpful group I have ever come across, and am proud to be part of the family. :seeya:

Back in 2002 I drove one of our first Ultralite S2Ks at the Run N Gun event at Gateway International, and with very little experience with the car won all 3 events, road course, autocross, and drags. I thought I was really good till another driver came over and I offered to let him take it for a spin on the road course after the wins were already final. Well, he did spin out on the first turn and still beat my time by 4 seconds. That's when I decided to build them and let my customers have all the fun. That driver is now a good friend and an XR7 owner, Steve Brinkerhoff.

I liked the video of the guy trying to steal copper wire from people's fuse boxes. He got fried. Too many nuts out there taking the easy way out. :ack:

Chad, You certainly did your self proud. Great build, color, inovations, sometimes having to take time to sit back and dream works out for the best.

I wonder what could be done to an XR7 for the balance of $168,790.43

I really dig the paint job.

I must be getting old, because I'm more curious about the white body shell in the background. Looks like a Morgon roadster? But the forground bodywork is not bad either.

A few years ago I purchased a Hayabusa oil pan and ECU off ebay for a possible project. I no longer plan to use them. I'll take $25.00 each. Give me a call if you can use them. 972-227-7241 :bigears: SOLD the ECU, also have stock BUSA exhaust and mufflers, make offer.

Loren, You are right, it's a fantastic article covering the One Lap of America experience, but also describing the total determination that Kevin and Michelle put into it. I wish someone would wright a book on all the Ultralite Teams that have endured the OL, from Team Iron Butt ( Norm and Michell Babcock ), you and Kevin for two years, and now Kevin and Michelle. You all have so many stories to tell, like what some of the other competitors had to do to keep in the race ( BMW ) . The weather conditions, like the ice dripping from your nose, and the comments made all during the events. I think it would be great reading. Hats off to all of you for taking on such a trial. :hurray: :hurray:
