before you spend any money on a sensor, find someone local with a scanner and see if the coolant sensor readings make sense (i.e. close to outside temp when cold, closer to thermostat temp as warming up.

oil is a commodity, like anything else traded on free markets. doesn't really matter where it comes from. Demand is higher than ever due to developing countries, and the mighty $ is in the tank. That results in $5 a gallon gas.

After sitting totally idle for a whole week :banghead: finally got a chance to work on the car last night, and a few hours today. The time was very productive, thanks to having my plasma cutter back, and also BIG thanks to Bob for introducing me to clecos. All rivet holes are done, and the floor is cut where the oil pan will sit. The bottom will be almost completely flush. The hole you see will be filled with the oil pan, which should only stick out 1/16", if at all. The bottom of this car will be as flat as... well... you guessed it... the bottom of A ROLEX :rofl: the only thing I need to do is tie the two little winglets on the sides of the oil pan to the piece in front, as the are not supported very well.
