  1. So far my day has been spent waiting 2 hours at the tire place, followed by waiting at the DMV for temp tags for the trailer. So far I've been here an hour, and looks like at least a couple more before my turn comes up :nonod: . At least I can surf :hurray:
  2. USA7s now has a YouTube account. I just gotta figure out how we're going to manage multiple users uploading to it
  3. Blue Devil is coming soon :reddevil: Current rumors are 650 hp, 2900 lbs. That's Enzo territory (Enzo is something like 660 hp, 3200 lbs if I'm not mistaken)
  4. grrr... what is it with Caterhams and coolant leaks?
  5. It'll be nice to have another seven around here for a blat. If you can join us for a september trip to the mountains, it'd be great. No stop signs! I promise
  6. Hopefully we can get some type of connectivity there. I will upload nightly.
  7. Not a fansy setup, but it'll do the job. I still have some work to do to it after the Dragon, such as adding some storage in front, a winch, etc... I did end up having to raise the car 1" so that the oil pan clears the dove tail section. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1969018136_CIMG1638 (Small).JPG http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/428585157_CIMG1639 (Small).JPG
  8. I'd think there will be a few cars around during the mid part of the day at least. People will get tired of driving a little bit and will come in to rest during the mid-day.
  9. :iagree:
  10. Dermot, Al and I talked about this a few days ago... an organized way of hosting all the event photos and videos, rather than having them scattered all over.
  11. We have little bats around here, and from time to time they dive to catch an insect, and get crazy close to your head. I've never hit one in a car though.
  12. I went to Banes and Nobel near my house. Aug issue.
  13. At this point it looks like friday is :ack: and Sat/Sun are
  14. North to South... Hagerstown, MD Blacksburg, VA Robinsville, NC Atlanta, GA
  15. man, that's just
  16. the mental picture
  17. No worries. I didn't bother setting my car up for anything. Not enough time. My front springs are too soft (I think). I'll just run it, and maybe pickup some car setup tips from R1 and others. I'm just lucky that I have the car running in time.
  18. Count me in, early or late.... early is better. I guess I will follow :leaving:
  19. Just saw a picture of Loren's car on their One Lap coverage (I think page 138) On a seperate note, the new Z06 crushed all contestants at VIR (Page 52), including the GT3 (despite much softer compound tires on the GT3), 911 Turbo, and the Extige S. A little plug for my vette bros
  20. Items 1 and 3
  21. I didn't, but if you buy, I'll split the order with you.
  22. To those of you starting out from the DC suburbs.... I plan to leave the house at 5:45AM. I will make a stop at McDonnalds near the intersection of Rt 28 (Sully Rd) and I-66 at 6:30 AM. I will leave that spot, hopefully with about 2 or 3 others at 6:45, and plan to meet up with the big group at 9:00 AM At Mrs. Rowes in Staunton.
  23. I had to stop spraying due to darkness, but I should be able to finish her up tomorrow, wire it up and get her ready for inspection :yesnod: In keeping with Maco tradition, I left the wheels on  http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/685055592_CIMG1636_small.JPG
  24. If that's 4500, I think we got a decent deal on our Roti.
