  1. Alright.... when you go to make a new post (or reply to a post), just before the list of smilies there should be a gray button "Upload Image". Click on that to upload images similar to the old forum software. Give it a shot... Off to go work on my wiring a little bit. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1202254548_motorboat.gif
  2. I have to turn the "points" system off as soon as I get a chance. But first, I gotta figure out the code to optimally route a sales person through a series of stop overs on his route with least possible miles (pays my bills) :willy:
  3. I'm just trying to keep one theme running  I just copied the forum banner to the other directories. This banner is temporary... Al is working on a fancy one. Order of priority right now is easier picture upload, followed by improved PM notifications.
  4. Well, I slaved over the oven (javascript and C#) for a few hours, and I think tonight I can do a release that will let us upload pics while typing the message. I'll try to do it around 10-11 PM eastern. Instructions will follow.
  5. :hurray: on the job. :nonod: on the seven. Glad you've landed the means to support the hobby
  6. 1 point for a post 10 points for a new thread -100 for removing points. I'm going to turn them off.
  7. Jon, thanks for sharing
  8. Glad you made it out today. I just came in from firing Frankn7 up just to take a mental note that EVERYTHING works before I start the rewiring project I think Al went for a Blat, and will have a story to tell when he gets back
  9. Same here.... trying to deal with that mess, help wifey with gardening, and start rewiring the car.
  10. I singled you out  I haven't gotten to the point system yet.
  11. http://imagesource.allposters.com/images/pic/FIP/NP-36~Donuts-and-Coffee-Retro-Posters.jpg :jester:
  12. :hurray: Believe me, on a public forum, that's no small feat. I'm impressed
  13. Richard, If all you need is dyno time, there is a place in Elkridge MD that has it. http://www.fbodycentral.com They do tuning, but for domestic stuff only (Caramro, Vette, Viper...).
  14. OK, Avatars and Sigs should be fixed now... As you find things, please post here, and I will address as quickly as I can (between working outside, etc...)
  15. Good morning everyone... Please don't fix your sigs... I can probably fix them with a script. BRB
  16. SkinnyG, welcome... at least some things are working
  17. Well, if you can read this, you have found the new forum :hurray: If you are having trouble logging in, it is because I was not able to migrate your passwords very easily. Please follow the login link, and click on "Lost Password", in the following page, enter your email and userid. You will get an email with a new VERY CRYPTIC password. Use that to log in and reset your password to whatever you like. The new forum has some new and improved features, but will take some getting used to. The latest pain with the old package was attaching pics. This feature seems to work much better with the new forum (including not cutting off the pictures). I will add to this post as I find useful instructions. SOME UPDATES: Sigs and avatars should now be working. Some of the new features / better working features: 1- links that you put in as part of your posts will work more consistantly 2- attachments to posts will hopefully work alot better. To attach a pic, make the post, then come back and click "attach" after the post has been made. This is cluncky and I will improve it soon, but it displays the pictures (does not cut them off), and hasn't errored out on me yet. 3- At the bottom of the forums page, there is a list of most recent topics, so you get a flavor of what's going on around the forum. 4- There are a ton of enhancements in user memberships, user groups, etc... that I will tap into in the coming week 5- Private message notifications don't quite work like before - it looks like you only get the pop up if you log in (I'm not sure if that's the trigger).
  18. Please post here when you have successfully logged in, so I can make sure people are able to get in.
  19. I have to stop soon http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/lol.gif
  20. Came home from work and started shooting bball with my seven year old. We always shoot free throws to see who can get 10 shots in first. He shoots from where ever he can, and I stand back at about where the free throw line would be. He started - scored twice. I missed a shot. He made eight in a row http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/eek6.gif I was hoping it'd be a few more years before I had to make a post like this. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/lol.gif
  21. tomorrow my friend, tomorrow http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif
  22. Thanks Jeff. I did a brief run today before I loaded her up. I had 4.10 with open diff and 225's before now, 3.42, torsen diff and 305's before, 1st and 2nd were compeletely hopeless (1/2 throttle would result in complete wheelspin in 2nd, even at 2000 rpm) Today I just went down the road, rolling from 2nd, about 1000 RPM, put my foot into it. I didn't have instrumentation on. Felt like the tires held fine until about 3000 RPM, and then started spinning again. Definitely an improvement. As soon as I get her together again, I'll post up some new 0-60 times. My Nittos are almost all gone too, so new tires will help.
  23. I will attempt to upgrade the forum software tonight. I will start at midnight Eastern. The first step is that I will lock all existing forums so no new posts can be made. Once the data transfer is complete, I will point to the new forum. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. There may be some permissions that will have to be set in the next couple of days, but I think for most part things will go smoothly. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN YOU TRY TO LOG IN TO THE NEW FORUM, YOUR USER ID WILL BE THE SAME, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO REQUEST A NEW PASSWORD. JUST FOLLOW THE "LOST PASSWORD" LINK, AND IT WILL EMAIL YOU A NEW PASSWORD. I was planning to do this after May 8th, but problems with picture uploads are forcing my hand. IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS THAT PREVENT YOU FROM LOGGING INTO THE NEW FORUM, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT MAZDA_EBRAHIMI@YAHOO.COM. Wish me luck.
