Gilles Villeneuve passed away I was too young to watch him in action. My loss. RIP I got these quotes from http://www.f1cartvideos.com Some highlights My favorite part in bold:
  3. Man, I feel like I'll be missing a good time
  4. At this point, it looks like I'll drive the Seven, wife and kids will be in the van. We'll bring down a tow dolly, just in case something goes wrong with my car, or someone else's, or if there is crazy rain on the way. I'll have simple hand tools in a little plastic toolbox. Every time I use a wrench, socket, screwdriver, etc..., I toss it in there, so I know all the tools I need are at hand Other than that, head phones, water, helmet, and a smile.
  5. Voted for both
  6. :iagree:  :leaving:
  7. Are you refering to sevens running lower pressures than normal cars? typically with low profile tires on a light weight car, no. ultimately if the pressure is too low, it will cause stability problems... at least that's what happens when you drag race heavier cars and lower pressure to increase the size of the contact patch. In a 1300 lb car, you can lower pressures (compared to what you would run in a 3000 lb car) and improve performance. It's all trial and error, but 18-22 psi is not that uncommon
  8. welcome aboard Dave :seeya:
  9. Hell ya! You know the dude is badass when his pickup truck is a mini
  10. It's always a good sign when the car comes back under its own power on the first drive congrats
  11. Martin, great find. I really enjoyed parts 1-5....
  12. Oops. Kitcat, thanks for the reminder. I will have to add that functionality back in. Completely forgot about that one. I will really let the developers and testers have it this time
  13. Reposts deleted :willy: :jester:
  14. Lookin' good... empty roads? what are those?
  15. Robert, I forgot. You also need to disconnect the wiper mechanism from the motor. If you look under there, there should be an E ring to remove and separate the arm from the motor. At least that's how mine is. Chances are that the later models are different.
  16. Those two bolts you removed for the windshield should be all you need. Look for any wires or anything else that might have been passed through the vertical side of the scuttle. Other than that, it should just lift off.
  17. Dennis. The sides can be a DIY project, but the hood is beyond my skills, and if I screw up a couple, it gets expensive. He will need the car there to do them.
  18.
  19. I was able to replicate the problem. I believe it has to do with the way user accounts were loaded. I'll get back to you. Thanks.
  20. How did you get there? Just tried to reply? http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1020236091_banner.gif
  21. I'm not sure. I'm happy with the Rotus, but I'm certain I would've been happy with a Caterham too. What I love about this car is that since it is not "perfect", I feel free to do WHATEVER to it - and as you can see I'm not holding back
  22. http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=401440&fr=&cache=1
  23. I'm not a doctor, but I slept at Holiday Inn. Can I come too? Good for you. Enjoy
