  8. Group rate would be nice http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/thumbsup.gif
  9. That's correct. I was implying in my post that I opted for flip jaw's comfort, rather than a snell helmet, but I guess I wasn't clear enough.
  10. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/iagree.gif The helmet I bought online is a little too tight. OK for short use, but little too tight to be comfortable for a long drive.

  12. Steve, they do have loaner helmets... Just pull a nylon stocking over your head and use their helmet http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif I ordered my helmet online, but I opted for a bike helmet with a flip jaw. You will need a Snell rated helmet.
  13. Well, the rear is in place... Driveshaft is next (hopefully in the next couple of days). I just ordered all the materials for fabbing up the A-arms, pushrods, etc... for the front. Hopefully I didn't miss anything. This pic is with 305's in the back. I didn't have lug nuts handy, so the wheels isn't straight. The axle is about 2" wider than I had hoped, but I guess that leaves room for 335's in the future http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20070408_195839_305.JPG

    Spal fans

This is something I have to do as well. My car does not overheat, even in rush hour traffic, but last year, I was in a situation where the autox school only had a few students, and I made 12 back to back runs in 100+ degree weather. She upchucked alot of coolant. After that, I got a higher flowing thermostat, but I think the fan was part of the problem.

Simply one of the most amazing vids' I have seen
  18. I'm guessing that's the S2000 motor, right? This doesn't answer your question directly, but it might help... that engine is very tall: >Comparison to Mazda Miata engine. Perhaps someone with a Caterham can make some measurements for you. Welcome aboard.
  19. Dean, does 'others' mean other brands or other Lotuses?
  20. Yet another BEC showing off http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrinjester.gif What's interesting about this one is that at around the 6:45 mark, he speeds up the vid, and the damn engine sounds remarkably F1. Enjoy
  21. BTW, Feel free to post up how your interest in Sevens started >here. Also, If you are interested, the trip to the Tail of the Dragon still has a few spots open.
