Steve, there was a very good explanation for this on corvetteforum.
90% of the road is in TN, but all the major businesses that profit from it are in NC. So, NC gets the tax revenue, and TN gets the headaches and emergency expenses.

I have a set of R compound autox tires on my vette now, on Z06 wheels, that can go on the Rotus - if I go that route.
I'm going to put the set that I bought on the vette for daily driving. it's the stock GY runflats.
I'm not crazy about adaptors either

it was too good to pass up. it has pressure sensors too. If I sell those, the wheels are almost free, and tires with 7K miles on them are about 1/3 of new price.
