  1. Good ideas guys. How about if I just make a sticky thread here asking for people who are interested in getting a ride to post. If are interested in giving a ride, you subscribe to that thread, so when there is a new post, you will get an email to check it out. To keep number of emails down, we'll have to have some self-control to not have alot of back and forth discussion on that thread. Thoughts???
  2. Friday is the day mang. Frankn7 will be back in Baltimore, at Fbody Central off Caton Ave. I think you'll be the first forum member (besides my nephew) to grab a ride. Let me know if you can make it in the afternoon.

  6. Yes, I can. But I can't continue to pour money into this thing at the current rate. I'll have to live with it for a little while http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif I don't know what Zeroshift's problem is. I guess the product doesn't really work in practical applications. They obviously have cars running with it - maybe it can't take the torque during the shift.
  7. One thing everyone can do is to make sure their location is properly filled in. People usually start their search for cars like ours by first browsing forums (without even joining). If they see someone close to them has a car like that, it increases the likelihood that they'll jump in. To update your location, from the top menu, go to "other", then "Settings", then "Edit Profile"

  9. I'm waiting for someday getting one of these guys for my car >http://www.zeroshift.com/video/Zeroshift%20Water%20Tests.wmv Zeroshift makes guts for the T5 tranny, which would fit perfectly in my car. At some point the rumor was that they would take $6K to upgrade a tranny. Not sure if that was true, and how close they are to production.
  10. You have a private message with instructions on how to post a pic http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/cheers2.gif

  21. It's all good. If you go the V8 route, try staying with an all aluminum engine if budget allows it. I'm running a LS1, which is really the baseline of that engine family. If $$$ allow it, the LSx series can be pushed to 600 hp with no additional weight gain (LS7 is at 505 hp completely emissions legal from GM) the 4 cylinder variants are no pushovers either. I believe most of them are in the mid to high 11's and low 12's in the quarter mile. someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Some of the tricked out 4 bangers, and turbo's are VERY fast. Someone posted one here that was running low 10s. But if that's what you're after, I think V8 is a more practical option because you can still have a very reliable, long lasting engine.
  22. I'll stick to about 75th percentile http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif. Dragon is not a place for saying oops.
  23. I have a feeling that in July, the dragon itself will be pretty traffic constrained. Since we'll have the autox day, I'll be saving some mojo for that.
  24. Martin, sorry. Missed your question. Info on 7/7/7 event is here >http://www.usa7s.com/forum/eventregistration/index.aspx The first 78 entries will receive an email in the next day or two regarding registration fees. After the end of January, we'll open the gates to anyone else. I'm not sure how many of the first 78 will take the next step and pay the registration fee.
  25. It should be in the next day or two.
