So who is in charge of the south, and are they/we making plans for next year? I know that those that are here are kinda spread out, barring the ones in Georgia or Florida. Maybe the folks from each state could come up with possible trips/routes etc for us to look at as both by ourselves and in groups. Esp for those that are not familiar with the back roads that our areas have to offer along with the things to see along those roads. Another good list would be the local tracks, autox places, repair or parts shops you have used in the past that have treated you well. Esp if you were in a pinch. *Is being hopeful the car is driving by then......heheh as i have days when the day is to short and the welds flow freely, and days when i consider using the project as a wheel chock for my semi. This weekend had been a chock block weekend.

The pic on the locostusa forum has a metal wrist band. The one here is just fine, it fine there too actually, just has the wrong band.
-
heheh shoulda got a benz!
-
Heheh Mine needs to be a mens too. Might want to post a newer pic of the watch on locostusa, the one on there now has a different band on it.

Add for me too please. Just send money to paypal?

Being a Titans fan, I despise the Pats. However, being a fantasy player, and being lucky enough to have Brady, Go Brady!

Heheh, though probably not the correct way, in the LC way, I am using bigger (taller) tires to raise it up. The cars i have seen are not as high up as i thought they would be. Changing the tires and the shock settings is about all i am hoping to do between different types. As long as it doesn't perform badly, ill be satisfied.

As i have learned from online gaming, do NOT confuse Aussie"s with Kiwi's. They tend to get a bit irritated at it. Heheh Fish and Chups. Pickled walnuts.

Kinda a repost from locostusa, but a bunch from here don't go there that I know of, and a bunch from here to race alot so may know rules that may help. As I am planning on my car being a Jack of All trades, Ace of none, Rallyx is in its future also. Hoping to make the GRM 2008 or if something goes wrong 2009, followed by joining the WCM guys in a shot at One Lap if the car lives through the other stuff. But, have hit a small stumbling block that hopefully can be removed. In sending Emails to find out whats needed, as I am going to pretty much leave my car set up one way and race it as it is, so cages, etc will be permanent. No contact yet from my local steward, but hopefully that will be in the near future. Have been told that some do not think its doable. Below is an email from Will Perry, who, judging by the website and things done understands his stuff. His response to an email i sent outlining my car and trying to find out what i need to make it legal in Rallyx. In the 2007 rally cross rules, it is open to any production based, fixed top car or cars with factory hardtops.Your car does not meet either one of these requirements. With a full cage, I don't think you car is not safe, it just does not fit the rules. If you have any other questions you may want to contact David Brooks. He is the SE division steward. His contact information is listed on www.sedivrallycross.com. Thanks Will Now, below are the rules for Rallyx 6.1 ELIGIBLE VEHICLES A Rally Cross event is open to any fixed-roof production based vehicle (including convertibles with a factory hardtop attached, targa-types with factory panel in place, t-tops with factory panels in place) that can pass safety inspection. If the Event Chairman after consultation with the Event Safety Steward determines at his discretion that a vehicle cannot safely negotiate the course, it may be excluded. And the rules for Solo 18.1 MODIFIED PRODUCTION-BASED CARS Classes DM and EM contain production-based cars which are permitted additional modifications beyond those allowed in Prepared classes CP through GP. Models must meet the requirements of Section 13 (first paragraph), be specifically listed in Appendix A, or be otherwise recognized by the SEB. The Panoz Roadster is eligible for competition in DM and EM as a modified production-based car. The following chassis are approved as clones of the Lotus 7 and are eligible for competition in DM and EM as modified production-based cars: Caterham Super 7, Birken, Locost 7, Rotus Seven, Stalker V6, Laminar Concepts Viking, Westfield, WCM Ultralite, Sabre Seven. Which leaves us to the hard top, which was a factory option on the series 4 models (Pics are in another thread, the yellow car). Not to mention the Donk. Not sure if the fiberpair ltd tops for the series one and two would count (Pics below). I am sure that like being E-mod for solo, it will be in M2 but thats ok as it will be heavy enough, with hopefully enough power to give an account of itself. Its the driver that will be lacking, not the car. Seeing as the car did have a factory hard top available and is listed as a legal car, I think this should get me past this. But, ya never know.

You know, if the police are following you that close, perhaps you should tone it down :jester: Some very nice sevens! I didn't know there were any other 7's besides the organic racing one at one lap. Any write ups or blogs from the gold one if anyone knows who it is?

They require an adapter, some wiring and a few other items for the SC one. All available through Brunton. Though, I thought Whittaker's car was a Super Stalker. A sharp one at that.

Glad to hear that. When playing sick becomes an option, then yeah, your feeling better. I am sure none here have experience with that from their youth. :blueangel:

So, tell us a little about yourselves
Mandurath replied to slngsht's topic in General Sevens Discussion
It never ceases to surprise me how outgoing and friendly the 7 community is. Even if competing with one another, its nothing like many other groups that i am sure some of us have been or are still part of. Very rare cussing, even rarer kill pages with bragging stories. Lots of help and no *look it up yourself noob* stuff. At the very least you are pointed in the right direction. -
I prefer this style to that like the yahoo boards, which is why i stay on locostusa and here vs the others. Ease of use with the same info, but i guess its what one is more comfortable with.

Poor kid, will add him ot my prayer list. Are they removing them?

With current exchange rate, we are looking at 32,523 USD without shipping. Uh, that would buy a BMR Aluminum Man-o-War with all the bells and whistles, read to run and a car to put it in.

Or build it to fit you from the start -
And those who thought i was off base for wanting my 7 to be rally capable....

I had a 65 mustand that did it. Was due to weak front springs combined with old shocks.

CT Inspection/Registration - We Got Bumpers!!!!!
Mandurath replied to 11Budlite's topic in General Sevens Discussion
Odd request, but more pics of the bumpers pls. May be useful for me too. -
Though, with the success they are having, wouldnt doubt that they are eye balling the heavy truck market also.

so, lawn mower races are actually rally cross 7's?
