While its still not the real driving season, I would get what you have running right. Sounds like you found some folks that can do it correctly. Upgradeitis is a serious disease and can only be cured by new partsicillin.

I rode a buddy of mines a while back, and one of the projects on my to do list is building a v8 chopper. They are cruisers, not generally racers. Though, one that won rats hole a few years back was pushing 850 hp. I imagine if you could get it stick, it would fly. Few things sould like a lumpy cammed v8.

Hehe considering my wife is as big or a bigger fan than i am. cept she is a cowboy fan at heart so anything bad to the steelers makes her day. when momma aint happy, nobody is happy. steelers lost, so all is clear. sorry bout the skins, i wanted them to win too. now its time for GO TITANS!!
-
I am a big time football fan. To the point i have watched NFL Europe. When it was still around anyway. My Titans squeaked by, but its a long road ahead.

Have not seen it, but then again, I did not even know what it was, until i read the post I thought it was a nissan z front grafted to a chevy cobalt ss rear.

hehehe guess should read the whole thread sometimes....:leaving:

Though it might help ya learn more control unless you like buying tires For the cost I think I would go with the domestic units. Cheaper, and for the 9", just as good as a Quaife. Best thing about a 9" is its pseudo quick change ability. Couple of chunks with different ratios for different plans and your set. Have a buddy that drag races a T-Bucket with a 9". Has different gear sets for different tracks, 1/8 or 1/4.

I think at this point, a lawyer agency with multi-state offices would be prudent. In the future if you cannot go it, maybe an escrow service? Ebay recommends one, www.escrow.com , but I would research something like this on your own. this one kinda works http://smilies.vidahost.com/otn/angry/zx11pissed.gif -
I imagine lexol would work. Prob better than saddle soap. Alot of leather stores have better products than saddle soap. Hehe I am just to cheap to buy anything else till I run out of what I have
-
It is from the wrist bands. A rub down with some saddle soap and mine were fine. Dunno if its the leather itself or the dye on the bands. Then again, its habit for me to do this with anything leather from my boots on up. Now, there are better things out there than saddle soap, but thats what I have.

What hole do you use to strap on your Se7en watch?
Mandurath replied to solder_guy's topic in General Sevens Discussion
Kinda like there are reasons my car is a ++4 and the watch is snug  -
Do the manufacturers listen to this sort of stuff? (about possbile changes, not the real not real discussion) Heheh I sent an email to ford about a performance part from their catalog. A month later I get a call from a salesman inquiring about my wanting to purchase a new car. His dealer didn't even sell the performance parts. So I send a similar email to a chevy dealer in nashville that deals in GM performance. Listing part numbers, codes etc. Anyone that has looked for an older part knows what a pain it is finding things like this from the dealer. I get an email back. This time trying to sell me some limited edition z06, signed by some guy i have never heard of. Heheh I guess they didn't check my bank account before offering to let me look at a car they wanted about 100k for. Very cool if Caterham, Westfield, or any of the others do this. If it were up to me, I would have one of each of them. Imagines a warehouse full of 7's. If they do listen, how about some Hard Tops! So I don't have to get itchy making one.

S1's are sweet looking rides!

Though not fond of the head lights and a few other small touches I like it. For something that smooth either a modernized version of the round lights or or included in the car like Donk or the Series 4 were kind of frenched into the hood a bit. As far as sevens go, i don't really care who made it, i don't really care how old it is, i don't really care how much it cost. I do care if its driven or not and that the driver is happy with it. I have freinds and family that have car they value quite a bit, that never see track, never sigh high speed corners (not even exciting ones). They only thing they see is the underside of a specially made car cover. I think they (the cars) cry at night dreaming of winding roads and high speed straights. Hehehe I could be why I am not allowed near some of them. I do respect pedigree to an extent i guess, but thats for cars in musuems. The pedigree that our cars need be concerned with it one with the names of VIR, Roebling, and Nurburgring on it (Ok, I probably misspelled them), along with the most important one, the odometer. The odometer spinning is the biggest pedigree a car can have. Proof thats its driven.

I do not know where to find them (they are given to me at work) but they make metal zip ties. Mainly used for securing trailer doors. Simpler to hose clamps. Those metal ties take bolt cutters to get rid of.

Wish there were more over here. A RS sold for about 1500 bucks a month or so ago on ebay. Incomplete but easy enough to fix. T-9 Torque rating (Short Duration): 570Nm Maximum (422 lb.f.ft) so it should handle sub 300 without many problems.

What hole do you use to strap on your Se7en watch?
Mandurath replied to solder_guy's topic in General Sevens Discussion
At first i was afraid it might not fit. But after some saddle soap softened up the wristband a bit it was good to go. 6th hole -
Guess I am the first to get mine. Looks GREAT!! http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff158/Mandurath/scan0002.jpg http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff158/Mandurath/scan0001.jpg

Heheh I considered doing that though I would use either a Ford or Chevy truck (or an old rusty elcamino or ranchero would even be better) and claiming it as a hot rod or something but I am not that desperate for one. But, by the time the costs are added up I could have one scratch built for less. Will just wait and see if rumors that they will be coming in the next couple years on their own. Like they have been rumored for the past few years...... Would be nice to have something I could haul with (XR8 has a a 5100lbs towing capacity so it will pull my boat) and take to the track, kinda a do it all vehicle.

Depends on how cold it actually is. But if below 30, i would say probably change the oil. But here is a place with some good reading about all things the are greasy. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/

I didnt figure it would be that hard since they use pretty much mustang-ford truck running gear. Damn.
-
How does one find out if a vehicle would be legal to import and drive in the US? Whats sort of emissions standards etc? Vehicle in this case is the Ford Super Pursuit/XR8, or the Holden Ute SS-V

Or feel some pity for hose that work in retail!
