Awww man, I was eating pudding as i read that.....
  3. On Hartley's website they have the pics of a complete install in a 7. HP is listed at 400 though, wonder why the drop or is that 320 RWP? Are they still like 40k, 50k with a 3 day warranty?
  4. When i was still in high school, I had a 65 mustang. wasn't paying attention in the drive through at jiffy burger and drifted into the rear of a pretty new jaguar. I got out and went up to the guy, who got his order and drove off, leaving me standing there. No damage to either car (woot for cars with metal bumpers), but he wouldn't know that without looking. I always figured it was stolen or uninsured.
  5. Good news, but as far as I am concerned, enjoy your holidays and ship them when you can. http://smilies.vidahost.com/ups/mamo/weihnacht2.gif http://smilies.vidahost.com/otn/holiday/hert.gif
  6. That is slick! And still remotely sevenish.
  7. Good video! And thats why Ferrari gave the man his race car.
  8. Christmas is a rough time to ship much of anything. You should see our loading docks, hauling freight that we normally do not, along with pullings others freight, as they do for us if our trucks cannot get to it in time. Pretty hectic, i shudder to think about what the post office has to go through this time of year.
  9. Better read the rules really carefully first (assuming you can stay awake through the whole thing). Or you will find your car placed in A-Mod where somewhere underneath the wing is a car.
  10. I am thinking on the bright side. If its late, then my wife cannot claim it was a christmas present, therefor I am owed a trip to harbor freight for an equal or greater value item.
  11. Hehe if you explore the sight, they have some pretty cool toys. USB powered Laser guided Missle system.....
  12. do they really have a phone like this on the golden gate bridge? at least thats what bridge i think it is.
  13. I dunno, will have to get back with you on that....please call back between the hours of 8am and 3 pm weekdays...
  14. $850 would buy 2 good 2.3T Lima's. Hehe Or might just buy the complete donor vehicle in some cases. The Zetec is better, pretty much all modern stuff is, and in time, i may switch.
  15. There are quite a few on ebay right now. That rotary powered one looks like a beast! I think most of them are from the Northeast, bad weather i guess. Hope they all go to new homes where they will be appreciated!
  16. You would have to contact him on it, i am not the one making them, another locoster is. Heheh, i am not using a Zetec either, too pricey, but i knew a bunch here were so figured to let you all know if interested. Violentblue does lettering, Motive does machining. As far as an SVT one, you would have to ask about that if yours does not work out.
  17. "p.s. and tell 'em to look for a ruggedly handsome guy in a goofy looking car next year " nah, I am not gonna be there
  18. Curious what sort of Autox stuff goes on in the DC area. My father and mother are considering trying one out in their Z4. Or info on Beemer groups that have days or get together up that way. They are going to try to use the car beyond trips to the store finally. Other groups or places they might look at would be of help.
  19. Would it be difficult to incorporate a calender into the site? Where folks could put seven related goings on. Along with links to the listed event if it has a website. Things like Run-n-Gun, LOG28, down to scheduled blats.
  20. Curious if this would/could be coordinated with other seven groups?
  21. http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2892 dunno how many would be interested, but a machinist is making these for some folks. Thought some here may be interested on some shiny stuff for their ride. More made is less cost i think, unsure about custom lettering.
  22. My semi got backed into by a conversion van. They tried to run, but there plastic bumper had hooked on my tow hook. Pulled the bumper cover right off. No damage to me hehehe.
  23. I liked his flathead more, but very very cool. And, for the price, could build a few real ones.
  24. I wouldn't call that a mishap. More like proof of other good people out there, and inspiration for a glove box of some sort.
