  1. bruce, first off WELCOME! many of us were hoping the new owner of jeffs car would pop in. sadly i do not have any wheels for sale for your car. i can recommend searching here for 5x100 wheels. http://forums.vwvortex.com/forumdisplay.php?803-5x100-Classifieds i myself have ran multiple sets of wheels originally intended for a VW. my current set if s set of dotz touge which fit the car very well. i took the two wheels for the front to the machine shop to open up the center bore a tad more since the vw center bore is smaller then the wilwood hub in the front. if need be a machine shop can create centering rings for any wheel you choose to run, no matter the center bore. http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/6750/super7.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img34/4540/cimg3072resize.th.jpg
  2. yea. a properly built 7 from the hands of loren is must nicer. i was able to get in and drive away. that being said there is still some finishing work i would like to do (im a picky person) to make the bay look as nice as when it had the miata engine. btw, i still cant get the car out of 3rd gear and over 4000rpm... way scary. its 100% a different drive then i remember it, granted the last time i drove it was 3 years ago...
  3. haha, not quite. i like my wheels better what are you doing sneaking in here... you in the northeast now?

  6. i thought i had loose bolts as well but i took a risk and bought the joints with teflon inserts listed in the thread above. the difference was quite marked. i have 0 suspension rattle. now, other rattles in the car are a different story. i will be getting my car back from westtexass2k by the end of next week and begin driving it around again!

  10. my vehicles has no snog stuff on it. no cat/etc. if i keep it below 5,000 a year i dont have to do any checks . i hope to have it runing and in my hands by months end and would be glad to take you for a ride around our less populated roads though it may be a bit cooler out then around mondo.
  11. is it me or has the cars muffler gotten smashed a bit during the event? close call? off roading? the public wants to know!
  12. you should definitely see and feel an ultralite. compared to many of the other cars, they are more "complete" and powerful in standard trim then cars of similar price range. if your on the east coast any time soon i would be glad to show you mine in the philadelphia area as it will be returning from its rebirth by months end.
  13. http://blog.roadandtrack.com/wp-content/uploads/Aspid-GT-21-Invictus01.jpg. http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/Aspid-invictus-GT-21-2012-07-17 it looks to be on the far end of the 7 spectrum, up there with the donkervoort... but id still hit it!
