I’m interested. Are you able to PM me? Mike -
Selo from Albuquerque here. My recently completed 360S had its final exam a few days ago - its first track weekend, running with a couple factory built 420Rs. I’m proud to say my little guy and I did really well - no equipment failures to speak of, and it felt great to be on the track again.

Amazing offer, thanks very much. Considering the fact that I've spent my adult life handling surgical instruments instead of manly tools, I have no doubt that I'm going to be flummoxed more often than not!

New SV owner here..... Almost! While I signed on the dotted line a couple years ago, my red on black 360S is now on a ship to LA due in port 8/21, after which it will need to make its way to my home in New Mexico. I am a car fanatic, having owned a fair amount of cars over the years including BMWs, Porsches, a Cobra Replica, GT500, etc. I've also done a fair amount of HPDE work, the last one in a Mini Countryman which was a blast, and it's led me on a quest for "lighter is better," which has landed me with a new Caterham. I gave up my medical practice last summer, so once the car gets here I plan to approach the build as my daytime job until it's completed. I'm really looking forward to the building process almost as much as owning and driving it.

Well, the good news is that the ship has left the port with my car on it. It's scheduled to hit the port in LA 8/21. Then has to make it's way to my residence in ABQ. Cost for shipping approx $11000. I'm really looking forward to this project, and since I'm retired now I plan to approach this as my day job once it arrives. However,...... Had I known it would end up costing me this much it would have been a tough decision...... There are lots of super nice brand new cars one can buy with this kind of scratch.

@Bartman, valuable info, thank you.

I might be misremembering. Maybe 3-$5000 original estimate. But a lot less than what we're talking about now. Sharing a container is a good thought. I'll check it out.

I made a deal on a new Caterham 7 kit quite awhile ago. It was supposed to be here last fall, then in May, then end of July, but come to find out now it's still hasn't left the port. Originally it was supposed to be 2 to $3,000 to ship to me. When I spoke with the shop last time, they said that due to the craziness in the shipping industry, now it was going to be $10,000 or so. I called today for an update, and was told there are further complications and it hasn't yet left the port. I'm taking that to mean the cost could go even further. Has anyone else run into problems such as these? Any ideas on how to get it shipped over for a more reasonable price? I mean, potentially having to spend 15 or $20,000 to ship a 40 or $50,000 kit simply isn't reasonable. Any advice will be appreciated.

This is an S3 rather than SV, correct?

Why don't you drive it? It sounds like it has the equivalent of 180/270/310 motor, but closer to which?
