What W said. My cars are Duratec CSRs and are 210 hp with sequentials. My tires NEVER get properly warmed up on the streets and for shear speed a proper launch is impossible (in like car magazine 0-60 times kinda terms). But like @w650gb500 said that ain’t the point. These cars can carry so much speed when all other cars are full on braking (on a track). Especially deep in corners. In the real world means you can squirt the throttle and pretty much disappear anytime you want. Keep in mind I’m not even a good racing driver. Where’s the racing line again??? Aww shoot, wayyyy over there!?!?? lol Numbers aren’t the thing, but it will delight and terrify you how fast a big hp 7 can do 0-100-0. It’s wild in any fast car. It feels like riding a rocket in a 7. 620’s are truly scary. lol i have never driven one but I suspect the 3 cylinder 85 hp 7 is the PERFECT road 7. Lightest 7 ever. High revvjng tiny turbo motor (with the noises!!) and skinny bicycle tires. I get the idea you could drive to the grocery store at 9/10 of its’ capabilities and FEEL like Aryton Senna at Suzuka. And only be going maybe 43 mph, but at the absolute ragged edge. And not get in trouble with John Bull. lol

7’s are nothing if not art. Everywhere they go they inspire emotions, reactions. That is the very definition of art. I love driving 7’s but for me the best part is how happy they make others. It makes me happy that they make others happy. Even just passersby in other cars smile, wave, everyone gets caught up in it, the excitement, the singularity of seeing something so preposterous toodling down the road. I run around with what I call my “Ferrari dudes” (the slow cars!) and people like Ferraris. They do. But Ferraris have air conditioning. Ferraris have windows. Ferraris have iPad displays. They’re almost pedestrian by comparison. They sometimes wanna sit in the Ferraris. They ALWAYS wanna sit in my 7. And I ALWAYS let them. When people connect to the car, in any way, THAT’S art. Just my two pence. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pfft. You could test fit in 7.2 if any time you want. and yeah, if my big (sexy) ass will fit in heated carbon Tillets, yours will. SV awesome. Lowered floors awesome. lemme know my man. Come on back from the beach and we can skrrt skrrt a lil bit. Cage and all. Give you a good idea what this 7 would be like. there is a different cage with D shaped openings (no top side bars) that would make life significantly easier for people who’s joints are like mine, old and crusty. But I’m stubborn and love this full cage setup. (Plus the colors, Go GAMECOCKS!) @sf4018 I’ll be in contact for a finders fee if this closes. lol.

Oh shoot. We didn’t get any stick at all. As I recall one or two fancy brand new or near brand new Astons there last year as well. Here’s hoping to be parked up next to you (although not TOO close, that AC is PrEtTy!!) Surely you can pick me up for a coffee run???

Joe!!!!! Met @Joe Petty at the Euro last year. Rockstar! He somehow made my car look plain and uninteresting. Real deal lil car you have there, Joe, as you know. Joe’s car also made mine look MASSIVE. lol For perspective, here is my car 7.2 looking like an absolute purple school bus next to Joe’s minuscule original masterpiece.

Taking 7.2 back to the Euro this year. Also being joined by @Yoram I believe with his badass 7. So will be at least two 7s on display, likely in “Euro Other” category. EDITED TO ADD: I’m excited to have Yoram parked next to me, bc the only time I can keep up with him is when he is parked. True story. lol If you’re out and about it’s a pretty interesting show. Pretty sure I’ma take 7.2 to Charleston, SC for the week of Dec 22-28. I know it’s a busy, family oriented time but also a good time to escape the in-laws! Just throwing it out there in case anyone else needs an excuse. Lol, I could always “break down” on the other side of town and y’all would simply have to come help me. Lol, well, I def won the Slowest Guy in a Fast Car award! Had a tremendous time, thanks Leland for basically forcing me to go. Cost a metric F ton of money, but clearly “track” is my new drug of choice. (though to be fair, first outing is many one time costs. (That is Leland’s black beast with the BIG WANG and his Dad with the badass yellow S3!) They are both very good drivers. As we all know, these cars a track monsters. A cheat code, if you will. A crap driver like me should NOT be able to easily pass the drivers I was passing. Anyways, more to come and may spend some time and effort arranging days like this for just 7s. See you all in the paddock… soon. Oh, and here is a video comparison of Lethal Leland and then myself running a lap in my 7point2 (2023 7 CSR 420R).
