  3. This light, I was the third car thru, and it was red, sorry officer !!!
  4. Arya, I live at the half way point from Milford, 20 mins from Philly. You can stop here first, and we can make our way to Milford. If you can't steal Frankn7, you can ride with me. I'll give you some seat time , and you can see what an UNDER-POWERED 7 is like.LOL Or if you need a good home cooked meal before then, thats cool too.Drop me a PM , and I'll give you my Cell# I think we should invite Attwell's troopers, they are a great group of people !!

    Which car ?

I'm with Martin, I like to have a go at the 904. But thats just what I like. To bring anyone of them back to life would be lots of money, and it would help to restore them right. I have tryed to restore cars in the past and I was always missing the money and talent to do it any higher than a drive status. Oh Well !!!!!
  6. Steve, Good luck with the new car, its nice !! And get used to that smile !!!!!!

    What am I?

Hi Mike, Nice chunks you found, but you fixed it , so , "Well Done". If air travel is still down by thurs., and no London, maybe I see you next weekend for the LEO event.
  8. This was at a Philly auto-x a few years ago. My S1, Tom's Caterham and Tom's friend in his very nice Caterham.
  9. After 4 months of sitting in the garage, the S1 is now legal and on the road. The old inspection sticker showed I only drove it 1365 miles last year. I'll try to put more miles on it this year. I've driven it for the past few days and it is running great. Mike, Hope your trans problem gets fixed soon, let me know if I can help in some way. Happy Spring
  10. Hi, Your first post should have stated who you are and what kind of 7 you have . If you have questions about a 7, let's hear. Instead, you are telling us what is wrong with this forum, it's not perfect, but it's pretty damm good. Look forward to your questions !!!!! Yes I do find you disrespectful, but I'll still answer your questions.
  11. Thats good, and I owe you a grand !!!

    FDA help

Kevin, I signed it, sorry to hear that more of our tax dollars are being used for something stupid. And that you are spending money to defend yourself over this. WTF, Steve
  13. It's cool, but I'll keep my $4,450. I could buy a nice Vespa for that price.
  14. Hi Bruce, To much rotating mass , spinning to fast, to take a chance with. Slotting the holes is the dumbest thing they could have said. I would like to lose the heavy flywheel in my car, but I'll look at other companys after reading this. Take your money and run like hell,Let us know what you get as a replacement. Hope to see you this summer, Steve
  15. Go get a ride in Franken7 !!!!
  16. I am so happy that I am not the only F1 nut. Jim Hall did the same thing back in the 60's, with his can-am car. flaten( if thats a word) out the wing when going foward, drop the wing and get downforce in the turns. I am sure the F1 car's works alot better.I think it is illegal, but FIA says it's ok. The rules state no movable wing, and this one moves. Love it !!!!!!
  17. This sinks, something I think about when I have someone in the other seat while driving my 7. Getting in a crash with anything ,is going to hurt. I don't think a 4 or 5 point harness would help in a side impact. Bumper to body . To all that drive a 7 be careful, and to Dana, Rest in Peace !!!
  18. Good advice Mike !!!! LOL, Your not right Mate !!!!!
  19. Sorry I'll have to miss that run, I'll be in London.
  20. This 7 was under the care of GMT this past summer, at NJMP.
  21. All my favorite F1 sites are reporting bad news. Lots of hype at the start, and seemed to go down hill from there. Big , Giant, undertaking, $$$$$ starting a team from nothing. Oh well, back to supporting that Red team !!!!!
  22. What I am trying to get excited about is our own F1 team, USF1. They have missed the first two tests in Spain. They have FIA permission to do their first test at Barber Motorsport Park. ( Don't we know someone that works there) . USF1 is going to test there next month from what little details I can get. But I want all the new team to do well.
  23. Robert, That looks great, looks like Birkin made it in the factory. Very well made. MADE IN THE USA !!!!!! Hope you and your lovely wife can make it to Carlisle this year, Steve
  24. Lotus Technical Director- Mike Gascoyne ex-Tyrrell, Sauber, Jordan,Bettetton/Renault, Toyota, Spyker/Force India. Tony Fernandes is the money, one of three guys that own their own airline in F1, Gascoyne is the brains, Lotus in name only !!!! Chapman family was going to sue over the use the of Lotus brand, last year, so I would guess some pounds were handed over.
  25. Hi Dean, Thats a very nice place to store your Seven for a few weeks. Being invited to the Museum for display is saying alot about how nice your car is. I work very close to the Museum, I 'll stop in to see it in person. Congrats, Steve
