  1. You'll need to trade up, Mike. It's got 2800 hp and 300Ib/ft torque.:jester: m
  2. Have a safe tour. m
  3. Does the facility have any security cameras? m
  4. I wonder if the intake snorkel/filter combo weigh as much as one more cylinder? m
  5. Hope this helps. 1 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/thegit/Se7en/BonnetMod4.jpg 2 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/thegit/Se7en/BonnetMod6.jpg 3 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/thegit/Se7en/bonnetMod7.jpg 4 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/thegit/Se7en/BonnetMod8.jpg Then clean up the circumference of the hole. I used a Dremel with flexible adapter and cutting wheels for the initial cutting then used an angle grinder with a cutting wheel to completely cut through the aluminum. m
  6. ...And yet the Bright Sparks of F1 want to lower the pit lane speed to minimize/prevent loose wheels from flying loose. m

I read that: They want to follow Porsche. Deja Vu, Dany Bahar :svengo: Edit: Ahem! mhttp://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=28053 m
  8. I have a couple of #. 847 931 1555. 680 306 4644. I believe that the latter number is most recent. m
  9. Thanks for the Vid. I enjoy Seven vids but unfortunately can't tolerate the helmet mounted cameras...I get nauseous. m
  10. Lean the mixture down at idle until it backfires enthusiastically. :cooldude: m
  11. I would recommend that you pull the plugs and look for a plug and corresponding combustion chamber that has had the carbon stripped out by the burning coolant/water. It is still early days, so the plug won't yet have gunk on the threads, they'll be washed clean at this point. m
  12. I had a minor infestation of moles. I used moth balls(don't ask how I got their lil' legs apart). The moles would shove the camphor back out, but got fed up and left my garden and have not returned...yet. m
  13. My bad. I missed the word "upper". :leaving: m
  14. I would take this problem as an opportunity to replace the fragile little Fiat items with a much safer combination of spherical/rose joints and what AFCO calls "Adapter bolt tie rod ends" part#10240. I had one of the Fiat joints break on a test run, the day before a track day 250 miles away. The Yahoo Birkin owners site has info on this front control arm ball joint issue. It's another delay for you but worth it . m
  15. It wasn't until I noticed 135-138 on the speedo that I realized your commitment :driving: m
  16. Welcome. It's been nearly 12 years for me :hat: m
  17. Your description of the decibel increase points to a glass pack. Your options are to source a rebuildable unit from the UK. I went cheap(er) with a Magnaflow and it does not get any louder with use, but was too loud to start with. I'd recommend a repackable replacement that uses stainless steel wool. There are some discussions on silencers elsewhere in this forum. m
  18. The Bowler would probably trash it"s tyres and brakes in 3 more laps. Not bad for the 'baby' seven. Chassis tech is definitely coping with weight these days. The Cayenne/Caterham comparo at EVO magazine was also a pleasant surprise. m

  20. You may want to check if the engine temp sensor aka coolant temp sensor is within electrical spec. They tend to cause an over rich condition when they fail. m
  21. Clearance will be adequate, until it is not. :hat: I'm on borrowed time as I have not installed a sump guard. I run 16-18 psi on 205 50 15 Kumho Victoracers. I run 20psi on soft sidewall 195 50 15 street rubber. In my experience the R comps will pick up and toss more stones due to the wider tread, the stickier compound. I added "mud flaps" to the front fenders but still get stones thrown up into the cockpit. I also have to clean out the lower frame rail/body joins of stones. m

    Falling Apart

Ouch! Make sure you push up your fluid intake, and learn to love cranberry juice to keep them away in the future. Get better ASAP. m

  25. The advantages of a dry sump, lovely. I would have lost my oil in 20 seconds if I tried that bumpy tarmac. m
