    "JohnCh I'm a big fan of the EVO 2, which replaced a PC680 . . . So far it' s been flawless (I just screwed myself by writing that, didn't I?) . . . " Yep
  3. Good heavens, coffee! Is that bone split?

I'll throw in my two cents regarding my Braille battery: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=21864 As well making my own cables: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=21191
  5. There is a Stalker golf cart . . . Could that be a Storker?
  6. That is sad. One of my all time favorite programs. Tom will be missed. Thanks for posting.
  7. I'm all about using steel simply because it doesn't strip/gall like aluminum and has better overall grip once installed. Two part numbers for ¼" are: http://www.mcmaster.com/#90720A450 and http://www.mcmaster.com/#90720A460 The tool of choice is: http://www.mcmaster.com/#95603A770 The tool isn’t cheap, but one of the best I’ve found.
  8. Paul, Well said. I think a couple of reasons for finding humor in tragedy 'is' because we all can relate to the situation in some form. I've been working on and off with saws most of my adult life and have never even had a close call . . . . And then . . . Another reason; it's comforting to know you're not alone when 'stupid' jump up and bites us in the buttocks.
  9. After growing tired of using painter's tape for on-track paint protection, I was encouraged to try something a little different. So . . . . What happens when you mix in one can of white Plastidip, a few brightly colored water based paints, one eight-year old, one eleven-year old , a mom’s supervision and a dad’s approval? :jester: . . . . .
  10. Dang, Jim! That was one bad a$$ air hose! :boxing:
  11. Busa, Congradulations . . . I think.
  12. Brit, I meant to comment on your shifter. If Scott and Glen aren't aware that the shifter is available, you may want to share. This may be another 'gold brick in the back yard' moment for new builders.
  13. Brit, Looks good. If for some reason the 1/4 fine tapped hole ever strips (shouldn't with the other bolt being a solid through-mount), you can use a rivet nut from MC. I've used these with great success (several on #85): http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-rivet-nuts/=uf461p
  14. Good grief! I wake up this morning to beer slippage, big black backhoes, groin injuries and . . . Oh yeah, Steve and I road together on the backhoe to the bar where all questionable occurrences unfolded. And you wouldn't believe how great a chick-magnet a backhoe can be at the right bar . . . Never did find my fingers after opening that beer.
  15. Michael, you're confusing Storkers with jokers. :jester: . . . . Goodness, I hope we didn't run bugzy off. This is his thread and we ain't heard a peep. :leaving:

Ah, did you mean Storker LS3? :jester: Sounds like fun; represent us Storker drivers well. :Chevy_anim:
  17. Well, the 'finger' is healing up nicely. Sorry, just looking for humor in tragedy. :jester:
  18. A Storker that's a porker, but with lots o' torque'r. :jester:
  19. bugzy, I see this thread is your first post. First of all, welcome to the forum. Secondly, take all this joking in jest; great bunch of guys here. While there's lots of knowledge and excellent information to be had, a handful of us like to 'mix it up' a bit whenever we get the chance; makes it fun. Feel free to sling a little mud back our way; we can take it. BTW, I really like the photos . . . and the wheels. :jester: Also, we Stalker owners, as well as fellow forum members with a keen (twisted) sense of humor, refer to our cars as Storkers :jester: . . . . .
  20. Good Lord, Mike! That had to smart a bit! Makes me cringe and laugh at the same time? :iamwithstupid:
  21. . . . . . :smilielol5:
  22. Brit, I just gave Glen a call and dropped a bug in his ear. I think you should follow up with your offer. :smash:
  23. How did you know? On a more serious note, I once shot a fairly large staple completely through a finger (right through the bone) with an air stapler; removal took a shot of Demerol and two cute nurses . . . . I think a doctor was also present. :jester:
  24. But Panasonic sounds sooo much faster.
  25. You guys have nailed me down . . . . . Am I really that easy to read?
