  1. Do you think this little beauty could go into a seven? http://www.crateenginedepot.com/LTG-20L-Turbocharged-19328837-P51443C606.aspx http://i62.tinypic.com/33ac9lg.jpg
  2. The setup is pretty simple - it uses two belts - one for the alternator and the other for the water pump. I purchased the tensioner from Summit or Jegs. Knock on wood, but the setup is working perfectly. http://i62.tinypic.com/1693skj.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/2yn5jrk.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/r9gwzn.jpg
  3. Here's my setup - it is mounted low on the passenger side. The turnbuckle supplied with the kit was too long and I had to install 2" spacers to get the alternator closer to the frame (to allow for tensioning). http://i61.tinypic.com/346qsdu.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/ambyu.jpg
  4. Love it! If I end up with another Seven, the Birkin XS is at the top of my list. Would you mind posting photos of the engine compartment and interior? Thanks!
  5. Looks great! You've really done some nice work with your Birkin. It is truly impressive.
  6. Congratulations and welcome to USA7s!
  7. Bob, I'm sure the new owner will be delighted with his new Storker. Congrats with the sale! Mike
  8. Sure wish I could join you. Sounds like a lot of fun.
  9. I'm reasonably certain JW Speaker manufactures the Harley Davidson Daylighter LEDs.
  10. I wanted to use hinged hood props, but was unable to find a decent way to mount them so I went with a simple stainless steel rod instead.
  11. I put 5.75" Harley Davidson Daymaker LED headlamps into my Storker. Installation was simple - just plug & play. http://i58.tinypic.com/54hpx2.jpg
  12. If you have Netflix, you should watch Return to Millen Mountain.
  13. Fittingly Russian - The RVT is being pulled along by what appears to be a Peugeot in the second video. Patriotic music adds a classy touch. :nopity:
  14. The driver should have nailed the brakes.
  15. Thanks Shane - I'll let you know what I find. I have about 3900 miles on my Storker now.
  16. Nice - wonder how long this will last?
  17. I like the hinges; I bought a pair for my Storker, but could never figure out a decent way to mount them. Very interested in what you come up with.
  18. Foam arrived a few days ago. Essentially, a box full of semi-rigid foam bricks. I presume the whiffle balls and plastic baffles will reduce fuel sloshing, but what will they do if the fuel tank ruptures? From what I've read, the foam will prevent the fuel from bursting into a fireball.
  19. Here's a good discussion over on Pirate4x4 about the merits of wiffle balls, foam, etc... http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/general-4x4-discussion/227781-fuel-cell-baffles.html
