    BC7s video

Having great trouble trying to master this video thing, anyway, here is a few clips we put together. The quality has suffered after uploading, it will give you the general idea of the day we had. Tech glitch at the 3or 4 min mark, focus issue...click on the image http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac92/7sRwild/BC%207s%20Gathering%202010/th_BC7svid.jpg
  8. Trying to get my vids to upload, hope this works. [/url]
  9. I know exactly what you mean, I could have carried on as well. There is no other experience like driving one of these cars a long distance. My wife (linda) actually prefers the ride in the 7 to the SUV. As you rightly say, the connection with the place s and the roads travelled mean so much more once you have travelled them in a 7. Cant wait for our next adventure.. Maybe down to meet some of you guys?
  10. congrats Tom, thats one heck of an adventure. Look foward to all updates and pics . Hope your beautifull machine is back in pristine shape real soon.
  11. When you drive a 7 you are never alone.......
  12. hey V Robb, love your running accounts of your travels, along with the pics. Still trying to get our pics organized. We got home and now life is getting in the way...good on yer mate, look foward to the next post.. Steve
  13. A boy has to have his treats.....
  14. Couple of pics, will post more as I get the chance. Pics taken just before we left, the bags worked out perfectly. Actually took more stuff than we needed.
  15. Hey V ROBB, know just how you feel about cruisin in the 7, the wife and I have just got home after a 3000 km trip. Pack light and travel hard. We had a blast and cant wait for the next trip. We had a good combination of highway and a lot of Mountain twisty bits, ya baby...cant think of a better way to cruise thru the mountains. Travelled from Nanton Alberta, canada. To vancouver Island, around the island somewhat and them back to Alberta again, with a few detours of course. The only repairs needed were a new battery and a bit of tweeks to the tuning to account for changes in alltitude. Still got to edit the pics, will post some as soon as I can.

Yup, that was us. We have had an awesome trip, the car ran really well, had to adjust the carbs while at the coast, different alltitude messed her up a bit, now we are back in Alberta got to put her back to where she was before. Had a great bit of fun with a BMW on the way home, coming thru the final leg of the mountain twisty bits. The guy was a real Gent, we pulled off at a gas station and shot the breeze for a few mins. He was from the states touring, he was blown away with 7 really admired the way we stayed with him, actually could have taken but didn't tell him that.

Yellow 7 on highway 3 about 25 or 30 km west of castlegar BC. Who are you? We were on our way to windermere and managed only a friendly wave to the 7 going in the opposite direction. Anyone out there know this yellow car?
  18. Just want to say a huge thanks to Ron and Michelle for the get together. What a success , something to be done each year I would say. You guys are awesome. Thanks to all who attended for fulfilling a dream I have had since I was 18 years of age, one more off the bucket list. Great to meet you all and look forward to the next time.
  19. Still touring the island, we now have a new battery, have to expect these minor hiccups. The car is running pretty good even with altitude difference, the wife is running pretty good to........the bags we got for the trip are perfect, easy to attach and remove and lots of storage for the trip. Will post pics once we get home. Off to check out a Cidery today, I promise to be a good boy and not sample to much of the produce.
  20. We made it as far as grand forks with just a few rain falls to dodge..the car is running good, the motor got a bit heated at one stage. Nothing to do with the way I was driving!!! On to Vancouver today, yesterday was a total of 9 hours, today a bit less, who says you can't be comfy in these awesome machines, we are having a blast..
  21. Ok Boss..
  22. fully agree with you on the old Bi-Plane feeling, that sound and the wind in your face really do spark the imagination. Glad its not only me that thinks that way..
  23. LOL.. See you in Vancouver. Drive to arrive..:cooldude::driving:
  24. The H'way 3 route is the one we are going to take, also joining H'way #1 at Hope. Never know, we might see each other at the side of the road somewhere. longest trip for our car to. Do you carry a two way radio(walkie talkie), we just got some and have them tuned to channel #7. Good luck with the trip, see you in Vancouver, or before.. Steve
