  4. I received Rotus correspondence from Ian Crawford who bought Robert Urfer's Rotus this year off eBay. There is included a Rotus Registry dated 1994 which lists 23 cars and the owners. I will attempt to contact many of these Rotus owners and invite them to post here .. Rob

  11. Friday I glued new black vinyl fabric to the steel dash .. then cut out the holes .. and yesterday mounted my new dash to the car. Also installed my new horn pin setup in the dash .. looks and works great! Today I will reinstall all the gauges .. and relearn what all the wires are for? :willy: Plus wire in some new functions! :yesnod: Rob

  13. We bought the two post HR8000 which fit the garage perfectly ... anchored in concrete. Yes .. their lifts are from China .. although the manufacturer is a US company. See this page for Lift Comparison Info. Also check out the Testimonials Page for more pics of people's garages. Rob
  14. Two men were caught stealing military equipment from an army base near Augusta, GA. They were selling it for its weight at a metal recycling center. Fort Gordon Story String them up! Rob

  16. At the mechanic shop the Bendpak lift arms do not allow for a low clearance vehicle. We had to run the the Seven up on two thicknesses of plywood to allow for enough clearance to be lifted by it. The new two post lift has lower arms and several pairs of metal inserts for various auto clearances. Minimum clearance is 3 1/2" Check out: Greg Smith Equipment.com Of course all these lifts require a dedicated 220v service .. You cannot plug it into the back of the dryer 220v Rob

  23. Thanks! I will have two gas caps: one for when the car is parked; and another with small holes to prevent a vacuum when the pump is drawing from it. Low tech but it will work. Rob
