    Well I guess the question follows .. should I be more honest about driving a clone? So if someone is excited about identifying my car as a Lotus Seven .. I should just let them enjoy their delusion about what it might resemble. (most case thus far.) Now if someone wants to get one and is asking me where and how much ..     The advantage of driving a old, paint chipped Seven .. is that many mistake it for a really old Lotus Seven. Yesterday a guy pulled up to me in my car at the pool and said, "That's an old Lotus Seven! I have only seen pics these cars in magazines! It must be fun!" Then the conversation goes on about how much fun it is .. and how I am restoring it. I never get around to mentioning that it is a Rotus clone with a Toyota drivetrain. Rob
