While doing a search for mechanical calculators .. I came across this calc .. which has a reputation for being used by rally racers back before the invention of the electronic calc. They were used for calculations of time trials, distance, fuel use, etc. Very popular with the rally racers of the '50s through the '70s. Handheld and looks like a small pepper grinder. Organic Racing car out of action

At ToTD Kevin talked about how much he loves Road Atlanta .. maybe not as much now .. This reminds me how much I get po'd when people hit the brakes while driving on the interstate highways .. totally unnecessary. I hope you get the car back together soon! Rob -
Note: I grabbed all the pics and description off eBay to archive it here. Often I want to show these pics .. and I always have a tough time finding them in the old posts .. so I am reposting them here. This street legal car has a clear Arizona title, but has never been registered. This is a new car with zero miles. The car is very unique with everything polished aluminum, nickel plated, chrome plated, polished stainless steel, anodized aluminum or carbon fiber, but no paint. Nothing was spared during the build, only the highest quality components were used. I enjoy building cars and with this finished, it is time to sell it. I am willing to sell the car without the engine (with supporting components) and or drivetrain. Do not hesitate to contact me. Email me through Ebay and I will contact you as soon as possible. "AL'S PARTS BONANZA" PART 1 HAS ENDED

What are we in line for ?? [Rob trying to see around Jim and Steve] -
At the ToTD I saw many cars that had this type of hood latch. Well after checking the US-Caterham site and some internet searching I have learned that they are called Bonnet Toggles in the UK and made by Grayston and come in long and short lengths. GE64 and GE65. Zinc Chrome or Black. I just need to confirm the dimensions. Rob http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20070323_021252_latch.jpg

Last night I drove my Rotus Seven to work .. and returned home this morning. I always wear the foam ear canal plugs to protect my hearing .. but for part of Saturday I experienced a persisting ringing .. I've been told by an audiologist that the foam ear plugs are the best .. Maybe my car's carburetors and muffler are too loud! Maybe I need to use both the plugs and a noise cancelling headset? Rob

Welcome Kirk! They do?? I thought that was a joke .. when someone posted about A/C in a Seven a while back! That kinda luxury seems contrary to the experience of a Seven. Rob
