  1. Here are a couple of first-attempt videos of our supercharged Cadillac STS-V that is for sale, since my bride bought a new ride for me for my birthday.
  2. I have been blessed with having one of the 2006 Heritage editions, and it has been a real joy. I've never had it on track, but have done car shows, parades, promotions at our www.eddiehillsfuncycles.com dealership, and drives to church on pretty Sundays. http://imgtree.net/files/dfd7qatonemqlsj27q82.jpg I submitted an application- (they did not ask if you have the funds to buy one, and I don't) but the numbers of applicants vs. the number of cars to be produced for the US market, make the odds for "approval- or allocation" pretty slim, I think. But the Heritage that I do have, has been my best investment for the last 9 years. Eddie FourFather Hill :flag:
  3. Here are a couple of videos that Ercie and I did to show and tell a bit more about our supercharged Cadillac STS-V that we are offering for sale, now that Ercie bought a twin-turbo V-eight Mercedes roadster for me for my birthday.
  4. Thank you. More photos- http://imgtree.net/files/3o4e7iga0fxvtaqavbbv.jpg http://imgtree.net/files/ozh8apnjhj5g28o8wsab.jpg http://imgtree.net/files/ur7fr718f7ci83910g3i.jpg http://imgtree.net/files/660uwfzx52mgi8pe78j5.jpg Eddie Fourfather Hill

  8. Supercharged Cadillac STS-V, Eddie and Ercie Hill's personal car, for sale. The most powerful Cadillac ever built at the time, powered by a supercharged and intercooled 4.4 liter Northstar double overhead camshaft, variable cam timing, V-eight with 469 HP and 439 ft.lbs., and six-speed automatic that is driver-selectable for either automatic or manual shift mode, should you want to shift it yourself. French-stitched beautifully grained leathers for the top of the dash, the center console, and the door panels. It has larger Brembo brakes, larger 10 spoke alloy wheels, 18x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rear, with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that I installed only a couple thousand miles ago, with no measurable wear yet. The STS-V has a faster steering ratio and stiffer suspension than the standard STS, and the performance, braking, and handling is thrilling, beyond anything I ever expected with a four-door. This is the 2006 model, the silver four door, with black interior. This has been our personal car for the last several years, and I absolutely love it. It is by far the coolest looking, fastest, best handling, most exclusive, and with the most amenities, of any sedan I've ever had. I have never felt the need to personally check it, but Wikipedia quotes the 0-60 as 4.8 seconds. That might be a little better with the stickier Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires I now have on the car, which are higher traction than the factory equipped tires. However, the need to carry more than than Ercie and me has never materialized, and we have never had anyone ride in the rear seat. So I am going back to my preference for a smaller, two-door (or no-door) car. I have had one Mustang, fourteen Corvettes, and four Ariel Atoms, so smaller and lighter is my preference, if I don't need the passenger capacity. The new price on this STS-V was over $77,090, and it has the performance and features to justify the price. There were 1,306 of these built for this 2006 model year, and total production over four years was 2,503, so these are quite rare, and I have never seen another one anywhere. Partial list of equipment. Supercharged 4.4 liter 469 HP V-8, Dual Overhead Cams 32 valve, with variable cam timing 6-speed shiftable transmission Rear wheel drive, limited slip rear differential 18 and 19 inch alloy wheels with super premium tires Active, self-leveling suspension Rain-sensing windshiel wipers (This is a cool feature, watching the wipers come on by themselves when needed) Power glass sunroof, with a sliding door to completely block the sun if desired 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes with ABS Traction Control Stability control Competetive Driving mode available, where Traction Control and /or Stability control can be turned off Dual front side-mounted airbags Front and Rear head curtain airbags Xenon high intensity discharge headlights Tire pressure monitoring system with in-dash readout Rear parking sensors Leather and suede upholstery 8-way power front seats Memory seat for two drivers Heated front and rear seats Easy entrance and exit feature, which automatically retracts the seat to the rearmost position and raises the steering wheel for easy exit and then re-entry., with out having to push any buttons Tilt and telescope steering wheel Heated steering wheel Dualzone front climate control Rear seat climate control We had the windows tinted to the maximum legal tint DVD navigation system Remote start feature - This is great when the weather is hot or cold, because you can start the car a minute or two before getting in, and the automatic climate control has it comfortable as soon as you get in! Bose premium AM/FM in-dash 6 CD/DVD stereo with FIFTEEN speakers! BIG sound! If you love music like I do, this is a real plus! XM satellite radio OnStar telecommunications service One-touch pushbutton start, keyless, and keyless entry. With the fob in your pocket, just walk up to the car and pull the door handle, no key to fool with, get in the car and one-touch the starter button, and the seats, mirrors, A/C, etc. all are automatically where you want them. Driver Information Center in dash Personalization Instructional CD included, to lead you through all the many amenities Voice recognition system, which allows for hands-free operation of navigation, phone, audio system, climate controls, windows, OnStar, and memory features. Merely touch the talk symbol on the steering wheel, release it when you hear the beep, then merely speak your commands! This is great fun to play with! It does not always recognize 100% of my Texan enunciation, but a great feature! It comes with the books, manuals, and service records, and smells nice inside. I don't take it out if there is any rain in the area, and I have never parked it outside overnight. The car had two previous owners, but before buying, I personally did a thorough inspection and road test of the car, and we would not have bought it if we had had any concerns whatsoever with the condition of the car, or the treatment by previous owner. If you happen to be a vereran drag racing fan, you may recognize Eddie and Ercie Hill as the only team to have ever won the Top Fuel Championship on land AND water, and, if not, you can Google "Eddie and Ercie Hill", or "Eddie FourFather Hill", for our credentials. Ercie and I will be happy to include an autographed die cast replica of our top fuel car, and an autographed diecast replica of our dragster transporter eighteen-wheeler. The car has 83,640 miles on it, and we are offering it for sale at $19,980. That is over $57,000 off of the new price, and is an awful lot of performance, comfort, luxury, and exclusivity for the money! Thanks for looking, Regards, Eddie FourFather Hill http://imgtree.net/files/r9toee171hvt5d5i6etv.jpg
  9. For my 80th birthday, my sweet bride Ercie bought for me this red Mercedes SL550 roadster with a twin turbo V-eight and seven speed paddle shift! This gal is a keeper, for sure! http://imgtree.net/files/ayvmegalcfc2waw3aw7v.jpg So now we are offering for sale our street ride of the last several years, our 469HP factory-supercharged Cadillac STS-V. http://imgtree.net/files/vgl8k3b3zy17ld6d3x97.jpg I haven't seen any non-7-type cars listed for sale here, but I am wondering if it would be permisable to list my STS-V for sale here? Thanks, Eddie FourFather Hill :flag:

  11. Here is a video of the start of the open wheel final at Hallett, where my two seated, DOT-tired, streetable Ariel Atom gets the holeshot against real single-seat race cars with slicks.
  12. Thanks for the kind comments, guys. I don't know why the good Lord has blessed Ercie and I so abundantly, but we thank him every day! Eddie and Ercie :flag:
  13. Hi,all. Well, my 80th! birthday has come and gone. I was born on March 6, 1936, the 100th anniversary of the battle of the Alamo. Really. But I am still here, healthy, (thank you, Lord!), still racing my Ariel Atoms, and have been blessed with the season championship in FAA (Formula Ariel Atom) in 2013, 2014, 2015, and leading so far in 2016. Here is a picture of my new demonstrator/company car, 2016 Ariel Atom Turbo, with 365 HP and still 1350 pounds. This picture taken at Eagles Canyon near Decatur, Texas. I am not racing this new one yet, I'm still using my 2012 Ariel Atom 3 with 300 HP, and I'm not driving it as fast as it is capable of, so I'm continuing to work on my driving with my 2012, instead of putting miles on my new 2016. http://imgtree.net/files/zhxgl6nx2ig9oxhb9cjo.jpg Last weekend at Hallett, my best lap time was one minute, 19.55 seconds. Which is .4 second off of my career best of 1:19.15 This is my 9th year of racing the Atoms at Hallett, and it seems to be more fun each year. God is good! Cheers, Eddie FourFather Hill :flag:
  14. Roger that! And Thanks! Jan 1, 2016 http://imgtree.net/files/sxlw5bsvvaucchree6fc.jpg Cheers, Eddie FourFather Hill
  15. Took advantage of this great December weather to run my new 2016 Ariel Atom Turbo on track at Eagles Canyon Raceway at Decatur, Texas. http://imgtree.net/files/6alafbszb8nom1i5pra0.jpg http://imgtree.net/files/nooh0mtkmt88egdmenwx.jpg http://imgtree.net/files/qtipzmu7zoo7o95r7oo5.jpg Big fun! And, as usual, did not have to do anything to the car but put 91 octane in it. :hurray: Thanks for looking- Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!! Eddie FourFather Hill
  16. Hi, Kitcat, ex-Stalker?? I'm not sure I understand your question. I have yet to see a Stalker in person, let alone own one. I've only seen pictures. I feel sure the full windshield does keep the rear wing from doing much, as it comes from the factory. I use the factory wing but make new mounts to raise the wing up and back to get it in cleaner air and give it more leverage for downforce. Lessons learned from my top fuel cars. Top speed? Last time out at Hallett Motor Raceway, I had a new career best One minute and 19.15 second lap time, and (without going back and looking at the data) I think about 122mph or so on the front straight. And at Eagles Canyon Raceway at Decatur, Tex., over 130 mph on its longer straight. I've heard 155 mph at Virginia International Raceway, but I have never been there myself. Congratulations on 43 years at the same job. I'll bet you and I are in a very small group of folks that have that much time in.
  17. No, actually, it was the data from a fellow Ariel Atom road racer that showed proof that the car turns better lap times with the windshield and side panels. Same track, driver, and car setup, same day data. However, when I take wifey and our two miniature Daschunds for a ride through the neighborhood, the windshield is a little more pleasant than without it. But I did order the other cowl, that has just the two tiny lexan deflectors, 3" high, 4" wide each, in front of the driver and passenger, so I can run the car either way. Takes less than five minutes to change it. And that way I can demonstrate the car both ways, to a prospective buyer that is trying to decide which way to order the car. The windshield has the wiper AND washer included, with just a single quick-disconnect electrical plug.
  18. Thanks, MightyMike. I do love the carbon fiber look, and with only 3.7 pounds for each horsepower to pull around, it does pretty well as a (relatively) economical top fuel substitute. I ordered this one with all the required street equipment, so when I eventually sell it, the buyer can register it. Once I found out, nine years ago, how much fun road racing is, I don't enjoy street driving enough, or do it often enough, to justify paying the insurance, tax, and registration fees. Funny thing about that- when I bought my first Atom, I did not intend to EVER take it to the track. But once I did, anything less than going for a new personal best lap time at the tracks, is BORING! Thanks again for your kind comments, Eddie FourFather Hill
