rcollum
A gorgeous morning, with a predictably great turnout at Katie's. Two Sevens there today - Michael D's & mine. The white XKE was just finished, from a full restoration. It's amazing how great it looks without bumpers! --Bob Collum
Kitcat
MichaelD's Cat is looking sharp. He must have polished it up in anticpation of the NJMP event, in 2 weeks:).
MichaelD
Pulling the or again in anticipation of my fresh backup T9 arriving this week. Anyone have experience with SPC clutches and pressure plates with a Zetec ZX3 motor?
rcollum
Katie's is becoming a regular hotbed of people on this forum. I met Dave, with his Caterham 7 there today. I also saw Kevin K (LotusMan1951) drive in. We had two Stanley Steamers, and a Ferrari Daytona. Not a bad day, at all! --Bob Collum
super7guy
Michael, I have pressure plate and disc from RAM, purchased through Speedway behind my zetec. It was smaller and lighter than the brit one which I think was for a JH. Look under pinto 2300. The PP is even drilled for our over sized (3/8") PP bolts. RAM provided good customer service and Speedway provided good prices. Wayne
TurboWood
Beautiful E-type, I like the removal of the bumpers.
rcollum
Only three Lotus there on July 4th weekend - I thought we'd have many more. A good variety of cars, though. --Bob Collum
rcollum
With 2016 over half over, Katie's is just hitting its stride. I won't bore with the cars you've already seen; here are some new ones! Mark Franke can't always get up this early, because he's old. His Esprit is great, though! Other new & old stuff we hadn't seen before - The new 2017 Acura NSX. A Mille Miglia Chrysler. A Cobra Daytona Coupe replica. The new, Miata-based Fiat 124 Spyder. --Bob Collum

rcollum
A great Saturday morning at Katie's. Ned was there today, and he is selling his '72 Lotus Seven S4. Details in the first picture. --Bob
rcollum
Some pictures from Katie's today. I finally got the 'wind wings' mounted on my Seven - the amazing handiwork of Jim Hurd! VW of America is based nearby - they brought out the 34th-from-last original Beetle. This one was manufactured in Mexico in 2003. --Bob Collum
rcollum
Rain was in the forecast, so turnout was a little lighter than usual. Also, several people left early, to go up to Supercars on State Street. Still, there are always plenty of interesting cars to see! (In the last picture, it seems nobody told this guy that they DON'T use stick-on letters on Formula 1 cars...) That's Kevin K. (LotusMan1951) and his Fisher Fury, for sale... --Bob Collum

rcollum
I missed last week at Katie's, but I have a signed excuse from Dr. Franke - I was at LOG in Princeton. Everybody knows about the Mercedes that backed into the Ferrari, but fewer know that a 28-year old man, Henry Sterne, had a fatal accident on the way to Katie's last Saturday. He was on Walker Road, near Colvin Run, and went off the road, flipping his Honda S2000 multiple times. No one really knows what happened, but it's a fact that the roads around here are full of deer. Let's be careful out there, people! Henry was a fairly regular visitor to Katie's, and had a lot of friends. Here are a few pictures of the memorial they had for him at Katie's today. --Bob Collum
rcollum
Still, there was a lot to see there today... The last two pictures are of a newer kit, based on the Cheetah. A front-mid-engined, Chevy V8 powered car, with gullwing doors. Look carefully, and you will see that the windshield wipers are mounted on the leading edge of the roof, sweeping down to the windshield. This car makes a Seven look comfortable and easy-to-enter and exit! --Bob Collum Edited August 13, 2016 by rcollum
HOTTTCAR
Bob Well done Cheetah. Did you get any more shots of it. Always wanted one.

MichaelD
Great looking car. What are the two descending rods in the front and rear for? Is there a side shot showing the doors and inside?
