wemtd
Blackhole and I stopped by the Toymaker Cafe next to Lime Rock Park for breakfast and a blat today. Great food (the waffles and corned beef hash are strongly recommended). Oh, and roads were phenomenal too. We even managed to get home before the rain started. p. Black Hole
It was a great drive, but amazingly the trees are green. Normally CT and MA would have a lot of fall color by October 7th. The Toymaker is named after the owners other business, restoring Triumph bikes. On Sundays the place is bursting with bikers, but they did allow my Caterham in. Black Hole
The area around the MA NY state line was fantastic. I had never driven in that area and Paul took a great route. Highly recommended for anyone in the area
Kitcat
The route map looks great! Ditto the hash! How many total miles? Any photos?
MPG
Serious corned beef hash: Nice! The Blackberry River Baking Co. n North Canaan also does a really good corned beef hash. I was out there for the Historics, but we didn't take the seven because of the rain on Sunday.

Highly recommended for anyone in the area Last year my wife and I took a trip to New England to see the colors, it was this same time a year ago, and the color was great. We stayed in Great Barrington on they way to Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Took all the two lane roads. Didn't take the Seven, but the trip was wonderful anyway. Great scenery! xflow7
My wife and I were up in Salisbury for a wedding over the weekend and passed you guys going the other direction on 44. I waved a big thumbs up from our little Nissan rental car. Looks like a great route and a great breakfast. I was definitely missing my Seven. wemtd
Round trip we did about 150mi. Unfortunately I was having too much fun with the road and scenery and don't remember seeing you xflow7, or taking any pictures. The weather was a little brisk when we started, then overcast all day. I started to feel a few raindrops on my forehead on the last leg of the trip, then a lite drizzle started 1 mile from home. I think this was pretty perfect timing. BlackHole is already working on a better itinerary: we'll be sure to take a few pictures to get some eye candy to share with everyone. cheers p.
