What to do about this tailgater

Recommended Posts

Not sure about you, but this gal was on my tail for over three hours today. Could not shake her, not matter how many times I changed direction.

Is this the answer to the question "who bought Angelo's car?"  If so, congrats!

It is, after assisting him in trying to get an ad written and the car on BAT, Angelo graciously offered me the car at a previous response to an offer I made based on his original post, and our subsequent discussions on "How to properly sell" the car. Basically, when I rewrote the ad, I pretty much sold the car to myself, and just waited for the seller to realize it...LOL. Angelo and his wife have been very gracious, my wife and I drove down this AM (after a stressful 13 days in Florida for family), lots of hills, valleys, and twists and turns to get to where we met at a local park (I had 2.5 hrs sleep in the previous 24 hours) to load up. Shame they do not live closer, I could see us all as fast friends. Anyway, the change over is complete, the car is now in my garage, temporarily in Caterham prison while my driveway is torn up and 60 yard of fresh,4000psi (with fiberglass) concrete is poured. It's in good company and will not be lonely. While I await the curing of the concrete, I've ordered a drop floor, will most likely need to tweak/bend the brake pedal 1/2" to the left (I have a tool I used for the same tweak when building factory five Cobra replicas many years ago), and have inquired about a proper sump guard. Besides going through and re-tightening/torquing every nut and bolt over the course of the next few weeks, I'll be sorting the rest of the car in hopes of rescuing it from it's prison, refreshed, and invigorated, and ready for a little road time with the top down.

@Angelo, that's one hell of a sales strategy!  Anyone want to write the ad for my Westfield next summer?  :918766748_biggrinjester(1):  Glad to see this car has stayed in the community.
