JohnCh Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 I know we have a large number of members who live in the Northeast. I hope everyone made it through yesterday's events without incident. -John
S1Steve Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Thanks John, We had a tornado less than a mile from our house. Thankfully our house was spared, our local Police station, High School and surrounding houses and businesses were not as lucky. We also 3 or more inches of rain per hour for a few hours… Hopefully our other 7 friends are ok…
yellowss7 Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 All good here. Got two tornado warning alerts. Headed for the basement. But luckily that was the extent of our experience. No loss of electricity, no trees down and no leaks. Hope everyone else did as well. I hope Croc can swim as his place is on the water

Croc Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 No issues for me. Hudson river did not even rise above normal tide level. It did look like a waterfall down my windows at the peak of the storm but not one leak. Tornadoes were 10+ miles west of me. Lots of clean up when I was in Manhattan yesterday - subway was all messed up. No NJ Transit or MetroNorth. Lots of disabled cars being towed away.
