SENC Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I had a great time following my Seven through various European ports before it started across the Atlantic - the anticipation mounts!

Alex-Ks1 Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 How long have you been waiting from the order date?????

I would die. Hurricane season lol. That stress. I. Would. Die.Â

Seems so long ago (cause it was). Seems the wait time for new orders is even longer now (without my extra extra delays, I mean). According to folks I know who are in the know.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Alex-Ks1 Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Please don't take this wrong ,,, I built mine from scratch .started in March , finished in August. Did you have to pay a VAT ,with your order .

(I think it's not required cause my car is an export outside the EU, but I could be wrong) but don't worry, even without it I paid plenty for this fast bathtub with wheels. Plenty.  The heart wants what the heart wants. As does the right foot. Lol.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No worries about taking anything wrong. I have 1,586 days to retire and so much going on at work night and day and outside of work I'd never, ever get a whole car stuck together, even one as simple and elegant as a 7.  Perhaps when I retire I'll get my hands on a kit, or become a dealer myself, who knows? 🥴🧠👾 haha  Watch out @BruceBe lol

Killing me.  Based on the previous shenanigans with parts delays then the one big thing that set me back months again, here's what I expect the ship to do. Lol  Still excited for my car!   IMG_4057.MOV 1
SENC Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 7 hours ago, IamScotticus said: Thats probably a good thing  But that's a cruise ship...  Quit your worrying, @UglyFast, surely this won't happen again...  We visited Sea Island GA not too long after this wreck in 2019, and had dinner at a golf club that had a great view of it. I have to say it was an impressive sight, the enormity of the ship on its side. The multi-year cleanup effort was fascinating to follow online. For those whoay not have followed the story at the time, the ship was carrying over 4,000 cars, including Porsches and Bentleys, into a massive roll-on/roll-off port nearby. Wondering if a lightweight, aluminum and fiberglass vehicle would fair any better. 1
SENC Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I should recognize that @Crocwas dead-on about hurricane season, though. Hopefully Nicole will be gone before anything purple heads west. @UglyFast, you don't have any ex-es named Nicole, do you? Â
