CBuff
You should also make sure to open the heater valve under dash to let coolant / air clear that system

Not sure on the amp ratings on each switch but it would be a similar 3 position switch. Are the heater fan and wiper switches physically the same? They are both off-on-on, but the wiper wiring also has to account for the wiper park mechanism when switched off. I think it may have an extra pin or have the pins wired differently. Hopefully someone can confirm or tell me I am wrong as per the norm.
hyper7
The heater switch has less pins and in different spots.

MV8
What is the issue? Temp gauge not working? I don't know what the blue line is from the previous post. I guess shows cold but actually hot?
hyper7
It moves up from the bottom of the gauge to the blue "cold" section, but never goes higher. My obd reader reports the temp at 200+. I'll run it again with the heater open and see if it does anything different today.
hyper7
Amazing what happens when you plug the submarine connector back in Apparently it got disconnected somewhere along the line.

jordway
Yep. Same thing happened to me recently. Easy enough fix. But, it came loose yet again on a long spirited drive over the weekend. I intend to heat shrink it this time.

hyper7
Present to myself is on - not too bad once I deciphered what they were saying in the instructions. I really hated getting in and out with the full hood, so I opted for the easy-in zippers for the half hood.

hyper7
Went with the soft bits one - I liked the idea of the easy in/out zippers..I had a hell of a time getting in and out the only time I drove it with the full hood on
