captain pabst Posted August 26 Posted August 26 My friend who works on a tugboat sent me this picture. Hopefully who ever imported it is on here and gets a picture of their car in transit. Photo taken of Port Dundalk 13 near Baltimore, MD
demoray Posted August 26 Posted August 26 A family member that works in the docks saw it as well. They said it was in the RORO area from Japan.
IamScotticus Posted August 26 Posted August 26 This is an environment I have years of experience working in. Seen bigger things than a 7 get crushed.
a.moore Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I picked up a truck from Baltimore several months back. Mine was parked a few spots away from a Caterham (presumably on the same boat from Japan). My port escort said I look like someone that would own a Caterham. 1
Outbound Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Been a year, but I also picked up mine from the Baltimore docks. Was a really fun and interesting experience!
demoray Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) Apparently there are two 7s in the inbound RORO of the Baltimore port at the moment. My brother-in-law sent me these this morning. (Deleted unsupported files) Edited August 27 by demoray

theDreamer Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Yes most interesting about the dip in the hood. Like yours ours is nice and flat. I also see chrome mirrors mounted on the windscreen stays and nothing on the doors. Ooo and clam shelf fenders too.
slowdude Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Looks like a k series with those wheels. Ive got the same dip. I think its because the FIA bar is slightly taller than the hood sticks. 1

I think its because the FIA bar is slightly taller than the hood sticks. I thought the same thing but when I zoomed into that area of the photo it’s the main hood stick that is sticking up. Is it possible that to clear the taller roll bar you need hood sticks that are also taller? I don’t even know if Caterham provides taller hood sticks. I do know that hoods and ½ hoods are specific to the roll bar being used. Hence why we see people selling them when they change roll bars.
theDreamer Posted August 30 Posted August 30 (edited) So we know who brought in both cars now as they are listed in the for sale section. Edited August 31 by theDreamer
