rider Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 Thanks. I did look at them; eventually decided go with Jet-Hot. Appreciate the suggestion.
Razomatic Posted August 5 Posted August 5 @rider How did the pipes turn out? Are you happy with the result? Any pics to share?
11Budlite Posted Wednesday at 07:07 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:07 PM Thought I would throw in another sample with a photo. After following this thread I decided to remove the crappy wrap job and get my Lola header coated. Jet-Hot recommended the 2000 coating for my application and I ended up going with the 2037 bronze color. They were even able to fix a slight clearance issue between a couple of the primaries. It came out really well, but I've been fixing multiple oil leaks so I haven't had it back on track yet. 5

Razomatic Posted Wednesday at 07:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:24 PM @11Budlite Beautiful! They look like modern art! It is my experience that Jet-Hot always recommends everyone upgrade to the 2000 coating. No doubt a better product, but I think it's a mandatory up-sell. They made the same recommendation when they quoted me for pipes on my 50cc 2-stroke motorcycle. In your application I fully agree it's justified, but just saying because it's often overkill. Attached are my standard coated headers, collector, and exhaust in their "chrome-ish" finish. I think it looks great. 2
williamwashere Posted Wednesday at 11:13 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:13 PM @11BudliteWOW those are LOOKERS. Amazing. I really want to know if it helps with heat in the cabin. I'm in Houston, TX and anything that keeps the footwell a bit cooler is high on my list of things to do.
