slngsht
:hurray: hell yeah! Too bad they droped the displacement back down to 6.2L  620-650 hp. It didn't say the weight, but it should be very similar to the Z, which is around 3100 lbs. 4.7 lb/hp is pretty impressive for a production car with all the bells and whissles. Wish I had one next to the seven.
yellowss7
Anyone want to buy a Porsche????  Wow that vette looks awesome!!! Looks like it will give most 4 banger sevens a severe beating. Think you can still take this one Mazda? Tom
slngsht
In the quarter, I have a good shot... after 150, hell no. autox, probably. Road racing, probably not... aero is not my friend (nor do I have the brass balls it takes to push my car that fast)
powderbrake
I love it , a supercharged, intercooled 100hp/liter pushrod engine.... those guys at Chevrolet cqn really create awesome engines. The Ferraris and Lambos will have to hide in the grass when the ZR-1 comes by. My plan for acquiring a ZR-1 is based heavily on lottery tickets. scannon
It didn't say the weight, but it should be very similar to the Z, which is around 3100 lbs. 4.7 lb/hp is pretty impressive for a production car with all the bells and whissles. Wish I had one next to the seven. The press release said curb weight is approximately 3350 lb. Actual weight usually comes in higher than curb weight. I have a feeling that the actual HP and torque numbers will be higher than the "at least 100 hp per liter" in the release. IMHO the car has a Hot Wheels look, although I still want one. slngsht
i'm not a big fan of the opening in the hood, just to see a plastic engine cover. rumors on the interweb are that the engine is underrated, and even if it's not, it's not hard to crank up a few ponies by playing with pullies. There is a guy around here that has a current generation Z06 - ALL black, including the wheels, and LOWERED. Seeing that sucker coming at you in the rear view mirror gets your attention!
