Man's Best Friend and se7ens?

Soooo, I have my good buddy Rocky, an 11 year old 70-lb yellow lab that spends at least 1-hour everyday with me either swimming, kayaking, hiking, snow-shoeing, or cruising around in my MGB. He loves riding around in "his" seat in the MGB and I love to watch when Nancy and Rocky fight over who gets first dibs on the passenger seat when all three of us go for a cruise! :)

What I was wondering is if anyone has ever taken their medium to large size dog out with them in their se7en? I'm hoping to get a set of goggles for him and maybe hook his harness up to the seatbelt/mounting points to take him for a spin in the Birkin to show him how a "real" sports car goes!! :7drive: Any experiences or advice is appreciated!

Here's a picture of Rocky and I cruising around last winter before the first snow. And yes, a '64 MGB with stock suspension does roll a little bit!!

Hi Bruce,

Here is a photo of Maxwell B. Smart waiting for me to take him for a ride in my 7. Max also likes riding in any car and flying as well. I due have a harnes that I hook to the lower seat belt just to make sure that Max dose not jump out when he see a Cat when we are at a stop or going slow in a neighbor hood.

My vet has expressed more concern with a bug getting stuck in Max's ears than something going into his eyes as I had asked the vet if she knew where I could get a pair of riding goggles for Max which she said she did not know. I have seen a guy with a sidecar on his motorcycle and his dog riding in it witha pair of swim goggles on that he had modified with some holes to let air flow around the lenses but other than that I have not found a small pair that would fit my buds pointy head.:)

Nice looking dogs, guys!!

Hey Martin, shouldn't Maxwell be riding around in a Sunbeam Tiger? :)

And S1Steve, I was a little surprised to see your yellow lab in the pool. Everybody knows that labs "hate" the water!! :D

Looks like Rocky's going to be doing some cruising in the Birkin this spring!! :7drive:

I was working on my turn signal wiring the other night and Spencer just jumped in the passenger seat like - "lets go for a ride!" I would if I weren't afraid he'd bail at speed. He jumped out of a pickup truck doing about 40mph when he was a puppy - wasn't hurt, but does make me think that I ought to somehow secure him if I were going to take him for a ride!

Josh is too big to fit in the Westfield, but he does like to hang out in the garage. Unfortunately he also likes to drool on the cars, particularly after they have been washed :banghead:

"Be brave! Let your dog drive your Se7en!" - I don't know how many times I've come back to my car and Rocky would be sitting in the driver's seat and I'd have to tell him to move over....and he'd just stare at me with this look that said "I can do it!!!" :D

Thanks for all the great pictures guys! In case you can't tell, I love dogs!!

My girl can't handle twisty roads but she's great on a 10 mile bike ride or hiking in the woods. She mostly patrols the yard for chipmunks or squirrels. I don't know how she winked at the camera. The neighborhood kids love her. I always give them a 20 yard head start when they race her and they always loose.
