slngsht
Jean from the sevener forum in France will be making a new run of watches. The design is a little bit different than last time: http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/3899/montremphxh5.jpg http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/6775/montremph2zr2.gif Our cost is 22 Euros (at the current conversion rate, eleventy billion dollars), and then shipping and handling, which should be about $8-$10 Let's see if there is any interest, and if someone else would like to step up for being the aggregator this time They are also offering stickers (but USA7s will have its own stickers shortly). Here are the stickers being offered by Jean. They are 3.5 - 4 Euros, depending on quantity http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/1981/plancheukxp1.jpg They are stickers made of tiny vinyl, and they are precut. They are provided ready to fit with their special transfer paper. Dimension : 7.5 x 4 cm Available colors : black, anthracite, ligh grey, blue , white, green, red, orange, yellow. Here is a zoom view: http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/4112/exempledm9.jpg I will start a seperate thread when usa7s stickers become available. slngsht
Thanks Jean ... but no thanks! Mine doesn't work either. Slngsht ... Please take note that I didn't violate the Busa rule. hmmm... so, that's 2 if there are others, may be I need to organize a group warranty shipment. Jean has offered to replace any watch that's defective. I think for any one watch, it's not worth the hassle, but if there are multiple... Anyone else encounter issues? Mandurath
Mine's working so far, but do not wear it that often. Need a bit bigger watch band to be more comfortable so its more of a deco piece for me. Prob will not buy another, I like the old one more. I think there were 2 or 3 folks last time who didn't get it due to timing.

BobDrye
I like the frog design. I'll commit to (2). :7head:
Jim F.
My watch is ticking right along, and I've worn it at least 5 days a week since its arrival. I'd order another if they're still available, and in addition I'd order one of the new design. How do we place an order for the stylized "7" decals being offered from Jean? Also, looking forward to the USA7S decals (stickers) when available!
locostv8
I would make a couple of suggestions. The first thin g I did was replace the band and have the watchmaker look inside, he said the mech was of mediuim quality and that there was no water resistance. I would suggest a metal band and a minimal waterproofing.
solder_guy
I like the Tach design .. the Speedo being off numerically just doesn't do it for me. (I mean that I would be holding my wrist in an awkward angle to get the numbers to correspond correctly :jester: ) Is that really Colin Chapman's sig? Al N.
FWIW, my watch works fine...
andrew7
Mine only worked for 3 minutes at a time, now its up to a few hours but not accurate. I thought it was because I was the one who asked for a higher redline. I wouldn't waste any time trying to return it. The French are o.k. with a paint brush or cheese but I'll go with a swiss watch next time. No hard feelings though its a unique watch.
athens7
My strap broke in the first 5 minutes, but the watch has always kept good time. Not a prospect for another, though. I'd rather have a club specific decal than a generic one.
solder_guy
My new watch made me late for work one morning. Wife: "Aren't you going to work?" Me on the couch: "It's only 4 am." Wife: "It's 6 am" Me: "Oh s*%T!" I haven't worn it since. I will when I get the Rotus back on the road .. and I know what time it is when I head out. [edit] Since reading this thread I've been checking the watch daily .. and it is point on time. Rob
johnh
My watch loses a couple of minutes a day. The band is intact though...

scannon
Mine was losing time as well when I first got it. I never did wear it because of the smell. After reading this thread, I decided to pull it out and see if it was keeping time but it was missing from it's box and I have no idea what happened to it. The box was sitting right next to the bottles of Lexal I brought up from the shop but never got around to using. Skip
RDROCKT
This discussion finally got me to go take a look at mine. It is still running, the band smells like my clothes after a day of racing and it has only lost about 10 minutes. Does it need winding?
Ian7
I misplaced mine before getting it out of the box, so still haven't even seen it yet :banghead: after reading all this, I wonder if I should stop looking and not feel so bad? :_deadhorse:
