Davemk1
It may not be a Seven but it sure is all weather 4 season fun for a Montanan like myself. It's a 2004 Cooper S that I found in Cody Wy with only 7500 miles on it. Absolutely like new and a very fair price. Any other Seveners have Minis? WestTexasS2K
That is about as close as you can get to a 7 with AC. Very quick nimble fun cars to drive. Congrats
drew...
04 Mini Cooper S - 120 mile round trip drive to work through the western and northern suburbs of Minneapolis - averages 30.5 MPG Lots of fun to drive. Not bad in the winter - snow tires go on this week.
11Budlite
Nice one Dave! We (actually Nancy) bought a 2003 Mini Cooper new and we love it! I don't get to drive it much, but we have taken a few long trips in it including TOTD and it's been great. We even have a Thule rack that we put on when we take our mountain bikes with us. If I were buying one, I would have gotten the Cooper S just for the extra horsepower and the 6th speed, but she's been very happy and routinely gets 29-30mpg around town and 37-38mpg on the highway. Here's the latest photo I have with the Rota Slipstreams/Falken tires we put on in the spring. We put some Blizzak's on the original wheels for last winter and it did great in the snow! http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/1289304222_20080804_0002.JPG Bruce :7drive:
jbanker
Must be the season to pick up winter time daily drivers. I just purchased a 1999 Miata with only 33400 miles. It even has a top, heater and AC. http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/1139460791_IMG_0468LR.jpghttp://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/1163955714_IMG_0467LR.jpg
scannon
I also picked up a new driver this weekend, but not one for winter use. http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/157814199_DSC03540.JPG It's a 2002 in Vivid Yellow, one of 239 in that color. You could only order them via the internet and you had to be a member of the Miata Club of America. This one has 45k miles on it and is in pristine condition. My fleet of fun cars: http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/1050142331_DSC03542.JPG Although both Miatas are the same color code, the one on the right is a '92 and the color is called Sunburst Yellow. par
When the Connecticut group got together recently, three of the four of us had Minis - I think all driven by the wives.....
d15b7
my brother just ordered and received a new Mini Clubman; it seems to be a really nice, well put together car! i begged him to get the S model, but he ended up with a regular Cooper (at least it has the 6 speed manual, though!). i do like the car, i must say! my 'nice' daily driver for the last 5 years was a 2003 Mitsu Evolution; an awesome car, and extremely good in snow/bad weather. mileage not so good, though; about 18-20 in city, and 25 max on the highway. big power, huge grip, great brakes, and plenty of room inside.... todd
