Kitcat Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 For some reason, I have always liked the looks of the Pacer. A lot. What can I say? The Aztec tho is a serious contender. I noticed that GM just promoted the man responsible for it at GM, Mark Reuss. If this is an example of the bold new thinking that GM is allegedly embracing it makes me nervous. His dad ran GM too. So much for a clean break w/the past.

Remember the TV add where the people climbed, shut the doors then technicians pulled away the false body panels to reveal the Pacer. My wife wanted one when they were new but had to settle for a Gremlin. She still wants one. Now I work with a guy who had a Pacer. When he talked about its styling he became excited. Others said that he liked his women to have a similar shape.

Quite a few found themselves on a road course...........wayyyy back in the day.. A fish bowl on wheels! The Gremlin was another fine little ride. First car I ever drove (unauthorized drive, did a lawn job... got caught.. Dad was called... got grounded, smacked....and learned my lesson.... kinda:leaving:) Scott
